First Annual Big Rock Invitational!
This is our first (of hopefully many) invitational events at Big Rock. We've worked hard to create one of the biggest/most technical courses around, and this is the chance for some of our best local throwers to show off what they and the course are capable of.
It’s a single one and done morning round, hopefully this will allow for some of the folks who can’t make more structured tournaments (those with kids, or non-readitional hours) able to come out.
We tried to make the cost high enough to be "worth it" but low enough, as to make it accessible. All proceeds go directly to payout (only fees taken are DGScene/PayPal). We will do same payouts as league, 100% to the winner if less than 10 players, 80/20 split for first/second up to 20 players, and for 20-30 players will be money back to 3rd, and 80/20 remaining 1/2, and above 30 (unlikely) will be 70/20/10 for 1/2/3
Rob will assign cards in advance, but we will allow late registration in person, but day of registrants must show up by 9am so they can fairly be added to an existing card.
This tournament is roughly aimed towards 950+ rated players, and/or those who may not compete in PDGA events often, but have the skills to compete at that level. If there is someone we missed who you think deserves the chance, feel free to include/invite them.
