Big Arm Challenge Rules

Presented by Desert Flyers Disc Golf Club

• Through out the Course the only OB is if your disc is completely surrounded by water, sidewalks, gazebos, playgrounds, and over fences or walls.

• If you are in any Fairway at all you are safe. Be cautious and courteous of other players and PEDESTRIANS.

• Please do not peak or jump over any fence to retrieve discs at any time or you will be automatically DISQUALIFIED with no exceptions.

• Please no Drinking alcohol, we do not have a permit for that and this is a PDGA sanctioned event. If caught you will be DISQUALIFIED with no exceptions.

• Most important of all. Please have patience with Pedestrians and do not throw until they are out of harms way. Do not yell at anyone! Yes we reserved the disc golf course but we are not the boss of anyone. Just respect everyone.

• 2 Meter rule is in effect “sorry but there are not many trees in AZ as it is and yes I am a big fan, Deal with it.”

• All players in all divisions are playing from same Tee pads. They don’t call this the Big Arm Challenge for nothing.

• There are 5 CTP’s which all divisions are playing the same CTP flag. Hole 1, Hole 7, Hole 10, Hole 14, and Hole 17.

• Last but not least have fun, enjoy yourself and cheer each other on. If you’re good boy or girl Santa will give you a prize at the end of the Tournament.

• If any questions on ruling try and take a picture of disc and throw provisional and ask TD after round before scorecards are turned in.

• OPEN ONLY: Final 9 holes are as follows. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 12, 15, 16, 18.

Big Arm Layout

Hole 1: 185ft (par 3)

Tee off on top of McDowell Sidewalk to the duck island. If you go in water you play from where you last crossed in bounds with group decision. (Please take your time to cross the water on to the island)

Hole 2: 563ft (par 4)

Tee off from hole 12 tee pad to hole 13 long basket.

Hole 3: 340 (par 3)

Tee off from 14 tee pad to normal raised basket (drainage concrete is OB if fully surrounded)

Hole 4: 673ft (par 4)

Tee off from hole 15 tee pad to hole 16 silver basket between trees.

Hole 5: 940ft (par 5)

Tee off from hole 17 tee pad to long right of gazebo. (Gazebo concrete is OB)

Hole 6: 236ft (par 3)

Carefully cross street and hang a right. You will see tee pad. You’ll see temp basket.

Hole 7: 765ft (par 4)

Tee pad is regular Memorial. Basket is pushed back towards gunnite behind the pine tree.

Hole 8: 338ft (par3)

Tee pad is regular hole over water to longer basket closer to trees.

Hole 9: 907ft (par 5)

Tee off from memorial AM tee pad which is on top of rocks off pavement. To Mckellips Basket right of pavilion. Asphalt sidewalk on right of tree line is safe. Gunnite and rocks are safe. Pavilion concrete OB.

Hole 10: 711 (par 4)

Tee off from asphalt on top of hill just east of regular tee pad. You should see the arrow pointing to tee pad. Playing to regular memorial basket.

Hole 11: 384ft (par 3)

DAM HOOOOOOLE Tee pad is moved back towards the sidewalk. You going to lay up or crush it up there? Gunnite is safe (EXTRA OB) kids playground to right of tee pad is OB.

Hole 12: 420ft (par 3)

420 hole. Tee off on BIG circle concrete pad to long raised basket (memorial basket).

Hole 13: 647ft (par 4)

Regular Memorial hole 12 to short silver basket.

Hole 14: 359ft (par 3)

Short hole to red basket on the right side of the hill. Tee pad is in grass just west of concrete pad. (Birdie time)

Hole 15: 500ft (par 3)

Long par 3 Play from behind hole 5 tee pad to memorial 15 basket. NO MANDOS, Let her fly over the water.

Hole 16: 496ft (par 3)

Temp tee pad east of memorial tee pad to long basket behind the tree on the hill.

Hole 17: 234ft (par 3)

Regular short memorial hole. ACE RUN TIME

Hole 18: 435ft (par3)

Tee off from grass by sidewalk to blue basket over water. IF YOU GO IN WATER ON FIRST THROW, PROCEED TO MEMORIAL 18 TEE PAD AS YOUR DROPZONE.

Yes sir we will be doing maps here soon and to fly by on the page It's pretty close to the Memorial layout but bigger and some different holes of course.

Is there any way to view this layout or get a description of each hole? I would assume you are combining many holes for XXL.
