This is my question- Can players bring backup discs (same molds), so long as they do not use any of them or swap them out for any of their 3, unless they lose disc(s)? Also, if a player had the lost disc returned, would they not be able to swap back to that disc if they already replaced it with another disc in that round?

There is also the "if you lose it, you now have 2 discs" ruling. (With the special caveat of replacing lost discs in-between rounds).

Either way, or any other way, getting explicit clarification prior to the player's meeting is pertinent and useful information.
