About this tournament

Welcome to the Berzerkeley Best Pairs Ice Bowl Driven by Innova. This is the second longest running tournament in NorCal and I'm proud to head up the group of dedicated volunteers again this year.

Benefiting the Alameda County Food Bank, Best Pairs is a certified Ice Bowl participant. It's an honor to be part of a nationwide effort that makes a positive impact in the communities we call home, playing the game we love. $10 from each player's entry fee will donated to ACCFB, as well as all raffle proceeds, so buy early and often.

As always, our event takes place Super Bowl weekend, February 1st & 2nd. The unique format is a Best Pairs Standard with a change for this year due to the 49er's advancing to the Super Bowl - Saturday: Tough Shot, Best Shot. Sunday: Long course layout Best Shot.

Tournament Schedule:

Saturday: Player check in - 7:00am. Player meeting - 8:00am. Round 1 - 8:30am. Round 2 - 1 hour after last cards are turned in from round 1.

I'm currently working on setting up a lunch order deal similar to last year's with the local Subway on Ashby. Check the Facebook events page at: for updates and a way to order.

Sunday: 8:30am Brief player meeting. Tee at 9:00am After the 3rd and final round, we'll head over to Rotten City to set up for awards and the watch party

The link is below:

Rotten City Pizza will host our Awards party, starting right after cards are turned in from round 4. Leonard Muise will have the Whirlwind Disc Golf mobile store set up and will handle Am payouts.

New this year is our Virtual Food Drive hosted by the Alameda County Food Bank's website. If you can't play, but still want to make a donation, it will go towards our total donation amount as a club. Playing and want to make a bigger impact? Have your family, friends or employers match your donation or make a donation of their own by following the link below:

Make sure they list you as a co-donor. There may be a prize for the greatest donation amount. There may also be a prize for second.
