Happy Friday competitors! I hope you all are as excited as we are to play in our doubles tournament tomorrow (8/24). This email has a lot of important information so please read it carefully.

Doubles Format:
Flex start anytime from 9am-3pm
Only 2 teams on a card at a time
Both teams do NOT have to be in the same divisions
You must play with another team
We recommend organizing your own card before getting to the course but we will try to match teams up if we can
ALL DIVISIONS WILL PLAY THE OLSE 2.0/MAIN LAYOUT ON THE CONCRETE TEES
Scoring will be done on uDisc in the events tab
Only 1 scorecard needs to be kept for the entire card
Top 25% of each division will be paid out through PayPal

Tomorrow will be hot so please plan accordingly. We will have water on the course between holes 6 and 15, so please top your water off at 6 to ensure you have enough to make it back to 15.

USDGC Doubles Main Event
This tournament will serve as a qualifier for the USDGC Doubles Main Event
ONLY THE PLAYERS IN MA1 AND FA1 ARE ELIGIBLE TO QUALIFY FOR THE TOURNAMENT
If qualifying is your goal for this tournament, and you are in a division other than MA1 and FA1, then you must change divisions on Disc Golf Scene before starting your round.
Total qualifying spots are as follows:
MA1:
1-14 teams = 1 team qualifies
15-24 teams = 2 teams qualify
25+ teams = 3 teams qualify
FA1:
1-4 teams = 1 team qualifies
5-9 teams = 2 teams qualify
10+ teams = 3 teams qualify
Notice that this is qualifying TEAMS and not places
That means if we have 2 teams qualifying and 1 team in first and 2 teams tied for second, then the second place teams must play a tiebreaker.
We will try to keep track of scores to let people know if they will need to play in a playoff.
