Welcome back to the Bluff! This is one of my all time favorite courses and layouts. Due to high golf popularity since covid, we aren't able to hold any regular leagues, casual play, or much of anything right now, until golf slows down a bit out there. This is why I look forward to this night every year!
This event is being ran as part of the Beehive Classic Week. All of your entry will go towards covering the costs of green fees, cart costs, and if there happens to be extra, it will be put towards the Beehive (there typically isn't much left over). This means there is no player pack or payouts for any division. It is just a sanctioned event on one of the greatest cleanest layouts around!
The layout is published on Udisc. Since "Schneiter's Bluff Front" isn't available for normal play, it isn't listed publicly. You will need to search for it under courses in the app. I have updated the layout and it is accurate. All of the course rules will be found in the PDGA Live app along with any hole specific rules. The Bluff is pretty straight forward across all of the holes. General rules are as follows:Over any Fence, on Golf Greens (not fringe) and in the ponds are OB. The water's edge marks the OB line for the pondsSand Traps and the long cuts of Rough Grass play as hazzard. If you land in hazzard, play from where it lies with a stroke penalty. The edge of the sand traps is the deliberate line intended as the edge, not some random grass growing inside of the line. The edge of the long grass is fairly well defined by the mow line. Casual relief is required if your disc lands inside any roped off ground repair areas. Keep golf carts at least 30' away from golf greens and tee boxes. Keep them on the paths as much as possible. Do not hang your bags from the plastic golf bag holders on the back. They need to go on the floor or in the basket. A Mandatory Players Meeting will take place in front of the clubhouse PROMPTLY at 5:30pm. We will go over any rules questions and course play and let you get out to your hole. in time to tee off Exactly at 6pm.
We ill be utilizing PDGA Live Scoring. The passcode for the event is "Bluff" If you need a paper scorecard, they are available inside the clubhouse. ALL PLAYERS ARE REQUIRED TO KEEP SCORE FOR THE ENTIRE CARD.
Your card assignments will be posted right before the event. They will also be on the steering wheel of the golf cart.
See you all tonight!!!
