Good morning Ben, are players allowed to play the course the morning of the tournament, I’ve never played the course before .

Very sorry, My son and I are having to withdraw. His tendinitis has flared up in his achilles tendon and he is on crutches. Sorry for late notice but I thought it was going to ease up enough to play.

ok, cool. When you say equal split do mean then if there are 30% long and 70% shorts players, then the ace fund gets divided 30 % to long and 70% to shorts entrants?

No. Any ace will pay an equal amount. If two people hit aces, each will receive 50% of the ace fund. Same for the CTP's If there is $300 in the CTP fund, it will be split between the 4 CTP's with each worth $75.

my bad I meant the CTP fund (not ace) gets split via long/short proportionately, certainly ace is even, but you answered my question on the CTP split. Guess it pays to be on longs, lol.

It was requested, however at the time there was no one on the waitlist so I was waiting for someone else to join the waitlist so I could refund the full amount for you instead of the 50%. Hope you enjoyed your cruise!

Jonathan- I see your refund request in the system. However, Lacy will need to go ahead and request a refund as well. Refunds will be granted as people join the waitlist for the event. Refunds will be processed in the order they are received and the spot filled.

If MA40 opens, I would be ok switching to it - did not see it on the registration page. Just trying to calculate the best chances of playing - MA2 has a few waitlisted, but MA40 none since it's not "open". So maybe open it and a few people can get in and some would switch to it to make the 3 minimum? Just thinking out loud :D

You are already waitlisted, adding MA40 would leave you at 13th on the waitlist, it would allow those who are already signed up to move to MA40. Doesn't change your chances of playing, still have to have 13 people drop from the tournament before you will be added.

Waitlist is not by division, first one on the waitlist gets in each time someone drops. If there are three people interested in MA40, I can open it and change people to it but it still wouldn't change your position on the waitlist.

Are the Ace Pot/CTP split based on the pads being played or by each division?

Ace Pot- an equal share of the pot will be split between all aces regardless of the division.

CTP's will be equally split for 4 CTPs. It will be based on pad assignment with 2 for long pads and 2 for short pads.

Here is the rule: Shotgun Starts (rounds where multiple groups start simultaneously): At a scheduled time, scorecard(s) shall be distributed to the players at Tournament Central. After the scorecards have been distributed, groups shall be given adequate time to reach their assigned holes. A loud noisemaker, such as an air horn, shall be used to indicate that there are two minutes remaining until play starts. The signal shall be a series of two short blasts. At that time, players are to end practice and move promptly to their starting hole’s tee. An extended blast of the noisemaker begins the round and signals the scorekeepers to call the throwing orders.
