About this tournament

Disconsin's annual Battle in the Bog C-Tier tournament will be a 2 day event for the first time in 2021. All Juniors' divisions as well as MA60, FA60, MA65, FA65, MA70, and FA70 will be competing on Sunday. Sunday divisions will all be Trophy Only and registrants will each receive a player's pack including custom event hotstamped Trilogy disc and other items. Players will have the opportunity to choose the mold of their disc when registering from an assortment of options on a first-come, first-served basis. Sunday divisions will be allowed to compete as long as at least one participant has registered in the division.

Each division will play 2 rounds as detailed below:

MA60, FA60, MA65, FA65, MA70, FA70, MJ18, & FJ18, MJ15 & FJ15:
Rounds 1 & 2 - 18 holes on Shorts Layout

MJ12, FJ12, MJ10, & FJ10
Rounds 1 & 2 - 9 holes on Shorts Layout

MJ08, FJ08, MJ06, & FJ06:
Round 1 & 2 - 9 holes on Juniors Layout

The younger divisions will be playing with the same card mates for BOTH rounds. After confirming with the PDGA events committee we're considering the break between rounds as a "pause" so those young players will play two rounds of 9 that will be recorded in the PDGA system as one round of 18 enabling these young players to receive a rating for the event.

This day is all about the players in these too often neglected divisions. We'll be having intros/tee-off songs on hole 17 (one of our gallery-friendly holes) as players make their way through during the first round. There will be mini-game contests with prizes running throughout the lunch break and afternoon for all Battle in the Bog V registered players as well as the Sunday player's Caddies. We'll have a bonfire set up in the park BBQ pit if the weather allows (last year it was 75 degrees), there will be a food truck available on site, a small flymart including artists featured in the displays currently out on the course as well as some more disc golf-centric items, a Chainsaw Art Demo, live music during part of the day, and drawings at the closing award ceremony.
