Thank you for signing up for the Bring Your Own BOO Doubles Fundraiser for the 2024 Evergreen Women’s Disc Golf Series!
Some information to get you ready for Sunday -
Cardmates: If you have not already done so, please reply to this email and let me know if you have preferred cardmates. I have the ability to put 3 teams on a few cards, but generally its two teams per card. You do not need to be playing in the same division. Those who do not request cardmates will be assigned randomly.
Schedule: Check in will start at 9:00 and finish up by 9:45. After check-in please proceed to your assigned starting hole. Shotgun start at 10am. I will post starting holes and send another email Saturday. I will also be playing, so when your round is over, hang out and celebrate the winners! There will be 1st place trophies for each division.
Weather: The weather looks pretty darn good for Sunday, but that could change. Plan accordingly, this is a rain or shine event.
Doubles Format: Keeping in mind that this is a non-sanctioned event, please be respectful and follow the basic disc golf rules. This event will be a best throw doubles event (PDGA guidelines for format in section B.05.A -

Boos (Mulligans):
Each team can purchase up to 5 Boos (or Mulligans). If you have not done so already, you can bring exact cash on Sunday or pay via paypal ($5 for 1 and 5 for $20). You will need to identify that you are using a boo prior to the re-throw). Both team members can re-throw per 1 boo. You are welcome to use your boo off the tee pad, but boo throws will not count towards the ace pot.
Scorekeeping:
I am working on setting up a UDisc event for scoring purposes. Please make sure you or your partner have the app downloaded. You will be sent an email once the event has been set up. If the system fails me again this year, we will be using paper scorecards, so bring a pen or pencil just in case.
Payouts and CTPs:
CTPs or “Closest to The Pin” is the person whose disc lands the closest to the basket on the drive. CTPs markers will be outdoor halloween lights so be on the lookout for the CTP for your division. If you are the last group to play a hole, please pick up the CTP "flag" and bring it back to Nikole, even if it’s not for your division's CTP.
Payouts will be distributed via PayPal within the following week. If you are not around to claim your CTP prize after the event it will be available at 360 Disc Golf the following week.
Costume Contest:
Trophies will be awarded for the following: Best team costume, Best team costume - coed, Best individual costume. We will be taking photos of all of those who dress when you check in. Voting will take place online after the event. Trophies will be available at 360 Disc Golf. (This plan might change and we may vote after the round... FYI).
