About this tournament

Welcome to the kickoff event for the inaugural 2024 British Columbia Women's Series! The BCWS is a series of 7 events held throughout British Columbia from April to September. More info can be found here https://www.discgolfscene.com/series/36857/bc-womens-series-2024
BC Women's Series points will be awarded for this event.
ALL experience levels are welcome! Divisions offered are part of the overall series, and will be consistent across events.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
A full day day of tournament style disc golf, which consists of 2 rounds of 18 holes each!
Payouts to Pro divisions, player packs to all Am Division players.
Enjoy lunch cooked by Caleb and the Farm Team between rounds!
Per the PGDA rules, Juniors aged 13 and under MUST be accompanied by a non-playing adult for the duration of each round.

TEE PADS (tentative):
FPO, FA1, FA2, FP40, FA40: Blue Tee pads (~5030 ft)
FA3, FA4, FA50, FA50, JUNIOR divisions: Red Tee pads (~ 3300 ft)
Division assignments were based on PGDA division recommendations for average distance thrown. Have a look here at the link below if interested, but ultimately, you can sign up for whichever division you would like to play in, on the tee pads you want to play on! You can update your division through the division tab after your initial registration, but reach out if you need a hand!

ENTRY FEE
Your Entry Fee includes 2 rounds at Mary’s Farm. Amateur players will receive a player pack! Player pack details to come.
Pass Through Fees:
PDGA Player Fee: $2
BC Women’s Series Fee: $5 (to series payouts)
Admin: $2
Optional Series Ace Pot ($5) - If the Ace Pot is not won in this tournament, it will carry over to the Series Finale Tournament where 50% will be used as an overall Series Ace Pot and 50% will be donated to a Women’s B.C. charity to be determined later.

9:45: Round 1
We will allow at least 30 minutes for the last card to finish to enjoy their lunches. Round 2 should start around 1:30pm.
CAMPING
Contact (bookings at Mary's Farm dot ca) if you're interested in camping out at the Farm!
REFUNDS
Gabrielle Lee is responsible for all refunds/cancellations. Withdrawals must be submitted through Disc Golf Scene or withdrawal requests must be emailed to the Tournament Director.
Cancellation on or before April 13th at 7:59pm:
Players will receive a full refund of their entry fee minus Disc Golf Scene processing fee.
Cancellation from April 13th, 8:00pm onwards:
NO REFUNDS OR PLAYER PACKS WILL BE PROVIDED.
Waitlisted Registrants who do not get into the competition will receive a full refund minus Disc Golf Scene processing fee.
No refunds or player pack will be provided to any registrant who fails to officially withdraw or is a No Show during the event.
