Ayla Gray Little was born on August 29th 2018. At 16 weeks into the pregnancy, Ayla was diagnosed with Anencephaly, a neural tube defect that is not compatible with life. Doctors said there was a small chance Ayla would make it full term and an even smaller chance she would survive birth. Ayla beat the odds and made her appearance at 7:50am she came out crying and she was greeted by tons of family and friends. Ayla passed away at 11:53am while in the arms of her parents Jacob & Sydney Little. Ayla's legacy is not measured by how much time she spent on this earth, but by the impact on those who heard her story.
There is no known reason for the cause of Anencephaly, and this tournament is to help raise money for research, in hopes that some day there will be a known reason and a cure.
