Where are the ‘recreational’ tees mentioned for some groups to play ?? I see and understand short tee to short basket and even long tee to long basket. BUT ‘recreational tee’ to long basket…. is this really ‘short tee’ to long basket as a guess ??

COURSE PRATICE AVAILABILITY:
The course has two tees and two baskets set up at all times.
• Wednesday: Course open for practice all day.
• Thursday: Course Open for practice all day - BUT please give flex start players the right of way to play through.
• Friday - Sunday: NO THROWING ON COURSE 7:58 UNTIL LAST CARD IS OFF THE COURSE (about 5pm)
WARM UP AREA: You may warm up in the area below fairway 17/18 between the road and the big parking lot. Also, any open ballfield in the park. The blue practice basket is open for practice all day, please stop as players are putting out on hole 2.
Do not practice on hole 2.

PDGA SCORING: The PDGA live scoring will be used for all rounds (PDGA.com/score). Two players in each group must keep score. There will be paper cards if needed.
• Flex Start Thursday: Access Code is "Athens".
• A-tier Friday - Sunday: Access Code is HB's PDGA#: "553"
• Be sure to verify both the main card and the back-up card before you leave the grounds. Best way to be sure is to look at the PDGA results page for the event
• This system list the tee and hole you play, as well as noting any Out of Bounds on the hole you are playing. PRO TIP: read the notes aloud on the tee to your group before you tee off.

SCHEDULE:
THURSDAY
• Noon: Players Package Pick-up for A-tier (first come, first choice on discs).
• Noon - 5pm: Flex Start PDGA C-tier tee off available.
o Tee times are not assigned, just report to check in and we will put you with a group that is ready to tee off.
o You must start by 5:10 pm.
o You may register on site if you did not pre-register ($25.00 entry).
o You can have players playing different layouts and divisions in your group.
 Jr., Novice and Recreational Men and all Amateur women play short tee to short basket.
 Intermediate and Advanced age protected men over 50 divisions play recreational tees to short basket.
 Professional and Advanced (MA1 and MA40) divisions play long tees to short baskets.
o Amateurs will receive a $15 coupon for the Bluegrass Disc Golf Pro Shop when you check in. Prizes will be published on the PDGA result page (click on "projected payouts" when all groups finish, about 8pm. Gift cards for the Bluegrass Disc Golf Pro Shop will be available for pick-up Friday - Sunday. Look at the PDGA results page to see you you did: https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/71003
o Pros can pick up a check on site Friday - Sunday, or be sure to give the TD your PayPal Address (G & S fee will apply) and we will send out Monday.

Friday - Sunday: Athens Open PDGA A-tier
• Tee times will be posted the prior evening about 8pm.
o Check each morning for slight changes in tee times due to known drops or score corrections.
o Projected tee times by division - in this order off tee one (subject to change with drops and adds):
 8am - 940: Jr, MA4, Am women, MA3.
 9:50 - 10:10: MA2, MA65, MA55, MA50
 10:20 - 12:50: MA40, MA1, MP40, MPO

• Sunday Payouts:
o Divisions will have trophies and prizes awarded as you come off the course and all your division's scores are verified.
o Amateurs will have a choice on on-site payouts or on line payouts.
o Pros may receive a check on site, check in the mail, or PayPal (G&S fees apply) sent Monday morning.

Course OB's
• On or over any paved or concrete road or walkway on all holes.
• On any porch, basement concrete, or top of house on hole 3.
• In or over creek on hole 3 right side.
• Beyond the fences on 4.
• In the lake on holes 5 and 6.
• Note: the old fence above 12, 13, and 14 are not OB.

Thurs flex start at noon ... so ... can a "practice" round be played if start before noon?
