Doubles are posted. Working on posting field events next.

Just making sure I understand because I’ve never done flex start before: When we show up to play whenever we want between 9-3, do we wait for another doubles team to play with or do we just play through by ourselves? And I assume everyone just waits around til the end when everyone is done for awards?

Yep show up anytime and you will be paired with another team. Sometimes that does mean you may have to wait for another team to show up. You will be able to pick up the payout either that evening after all rounds are complete, probably between 3 or 4, or anytime the next day during the singles event.

My friend and I are considering registering for this doubles tourney, and we're both rated under 850, but I think we'd probably fit in MA3 more than MA4. However, I see that almost all teams are signed up for MA4 and there aren't any teams in MA3. Is there any chance of combining the 2 divisions, or should we sign up for MA4?

I'm sure there will be some teams in MA3, but I can't guarantee there will be. You could sign up for MA3 and if no one else has signed up or played MA3 by the time you guys tee off you could always switch day of.

That sounds perfect, thanks!

Is a PDGA membership required for this event?

Not at all. The doubles and field events are not sanctioned by the pdga so no need for membership or any extra fees. The singles event on Sunday is sanctioned, you still do not have to be a member, but there is a $10 fee for anyone that isn't a member.

I can create one yes.
