Thanks to all who made this such a great event. I really enjoyed the course, venue and overall event planning! Greet job! I hope this becomes a regular event. I apologize for not being able to stick around afterwards, but I had an office Christmas party to get to!!

Agree that it was a great event and hoping to see more events of this professional-level quality.

UWF Outdoor Adventures   December 9, 2019 at 1:13am

Thank you both. I'm glad to hear you had a good time.

Zach Cole    December 6, 2019 at 10:55pm

I lost a yellow FD3 on the edge of the roof by the pool. I think hole 16? Let me know if you come across it and I’ll have someone from the club grab it

To answer you I would like to play in my own category whenever possible - thanks

Johnathan, sounds good, I'll keep you in Mens 60. See you tomorrow.

JOHNATHAN KING    December 6, 2019 at 2:15am

This is fine - at last some more older-uh-wiser guys are signing up - ;-)

Hello again - just wanted to revisit what group I will be in - earlier you said you would review as we got closer to play date - I am still only MA60 entered and was hoping to move to Novice if possible - do not worry about entry fee variance - looking forward to Saturday!

Am I interpreting the maps for holes 11 & 12 correctly? They are playing as an island?

UWF Outdoor Adventures   December 2, 2019 at 2:59pm

Thank you and yes they both play as islands. Also a barrier wall will be in place for both holes on tournament day.

David Cash   December 2, 2019 at 5:56pm

Cool. I've never played with barrier walls before.

Joey Nickrand    November 28, 2019 at 3:33pm

What's a good open score here never played it but I'm about to and want a score to beat

Joey Nickrand   November 28, 2019 at 3:36pm

Is there pro pads and is open playing them

UWF Outdoor Adventures   November 29, 2019 at 4:19pm

Yes, Open is playing the Long or Red tee pads for the 1st round and the Concrete or White tees for the 2nd round. From the Long or Red tees, I've seen scores around 4-6, from the Concrete or White tees 8-10, and the Short or Blue tee depends on the players level

Joey Nickrand   November 29, 2019 at 7:29pm

Thankyou

David Cash    November 25, 2019 at 9:18pm

Will you be using the new PDGA live scoring at the tournament?

UWF Outdoor Adventures   November 26, 2019 at 4:49am

I'm looking into the possibility.

David Cash   November 26, 2019 at 1:08pm

I used it last week at the tornament in Foley. It worked great. Easy to understand from the participant side and provides instant scoring that everyone can see.

Robert "Rec Rob" Hastings   November 27, 2019 at 4:04pm

All the PDGA events starting this year have the option to live score. It’s not a mandatory thing yet so some choose to an some do not.

Logan Park    November 23, 2019 at 3:52pm

I'm sorry, but I've had some work stuff come up and won't be able to play. Can you please remove me and refund please? Thank you.

You're welcome

David Cash    November 20, 2019 at 5:04pm

Any chance you are going to open up any more spots in the Novice catergory?

Possibly, email me your contact info and I will give you a heads up if or when we do. [email redacted]

Can do. You're in MA1. Thank you for supporting the tournament. Looking forward to meeting you in a few weeks.

Matthew McGuirk    November 10, 2019 at 1:52pm

Hi, I registered for PDGA after I registered for this tournament. Can you add my PDGA number please? 128127, Matthew McGuirk. Thanks! I look forward to playing!

Done, and we are looking forward to having you

Nick Meyer    November 7, 2019 at 4:28pm

Also, is lunch included?

UWF Outdoor Adventures   November 15, 2019 at 12:51am

Players are responsible for providing their food

Nick Meyer    November 7, 2019 at 4:26pm

I am a little confused with the wording. Are you saying that Novice is $30 or Student is $30. I am actually a student (I graduate the next weekend Dec 14th) but probably belong in Intermediate. How much would I pay? Also, why is there no Novice Women division? I would suggest having a novice women division instead of REC or dropping the price of REC women.

UWF Outdoor Adventures   November 15, 2019 at 1:00am

The Student/Novice division is intended for new or inexperience players and the label student was intended to help encourage UWF students new to tournaments to register. In the spirit of the game, it sound like Intermediate would be a more appropriate division for you to entry. Additional women division added.

JOHNATHAN KING    October 30, 2019 at 2:51pm

Hello again - Because I am a dinosaur I signed up in MA60 - - If we do not have 3 or more in this group may I be switched to Novice - being 69 and below 800 on my rating I do not think I will be accused of sandbagging if you guys can do this - thanks

UWF Outdoor Adventures   November 1, 2019 at 2:11pm

Its a possibility. I will take a look at the participant counts when we get closer to the deadline.

JOHNATHAN KING    October 16, 2019 at 4:22am

Sounds great - looking forward to this tourney - really like new holes and have always liked elevation on this course

UWF Outdoor Adventures   October 18, 2019 at 7:36pm

Awesome, we'll be excited to have you play the course, and thank you for the feedback, I'm always looking for new ways to improve the course and the participant experience

We are working on the sanctioning process and hope it will be up soon.

UWF Outdoor Adventures   October 18, 2019 at 7:50pm

Everything has gone through and the tournament is up on the PDGA website - https://www.pdga.com/tour/event/43301
