UPDATE:
Due to the recent fires and the ensuring smoke, the Air Quality Index has reached "Very Unsafe". Per the PDGA guidelines, the event MUSST be cancelled.

While this is not the photo finish we all wanted for the series championship, it is unfortunately out of my hands.

I will be at the course at 8am and at 12pm to be available for any questions regarding AXO and the Point series.

ApeX Ace Race is an unsanctioned 2023 ApeX Point Series event.

Featuring 2 rounds of 54 holes (108 holes total) on Little Black Bear at the Farragut State Park disc golf complex.

What separates ApeX Ace Race from other Ace Race type events is you can utilize your entire bag as you go on the hunt for Aces.

We have once again modified the scoring format so that divisional placement can be achieved for the purposes of the ApeX Point Series.

10pts x Ace
5pts x Metal hit (Cage or higher)
2pts x Birdie (For the sake of the event we are treating Little Black Bear as a par 3 course)

You can only score once per hole. ie: if you chain out on the drive you will get 5 pts, but will not putt out the hole.

Rounds 3 and 6 will feature "Ace or Die" [2 drives off the teepad. No birdies. Only Metal hits and Aces are counted]

ROUND 3. Double Down
Both shots count. 2 metal hits = 10pts, Metal and Ace = 15pts, 2 Aces = 20pts.

ROUND 6 Double Points
ALL POINTS points are doubled: YES! DOUBLED!!!

20pts x Ace
10pts x Metal hit (Cage or higher)


Payout to the top 40% in each division with top 3 receiving trophies.
