The 2023 ApeX Point Series will consist of:
7 PDGA Sanctioned League Events and
8 Tournaments
Players will earn points for Participation in an event, Beating other players in their respective divisions, Shooting a Hot Round, Hitting Aces and Placing on the Podium.
PARTICIPATION- 10pts
Each player will receive 10 points automatically for attending and completing an event in addition to any other points awarded. (Capped at 100 pts)
HOT ROUND- 2pts
Each player will receive 2 points if they have the lowest score in their division. Hot Round bonus points are per round, so if an event has 2 rounds, then 4 Hot Round points will be available per division.
ACES- 10pts
Each player will receive 10 for each Ace they hit during any event (including the 2023 ApeX Ace Race)
VICTORY- 1pt
Each player will receive 1 point for each player they beat in their division.
(Example: The player finishing 2nd place out of 10 will receive 8 points because 8 players are behind them)
PODIUM-
10pts = 1st place
5pts = 2nd place
2.5pt = 3rd place
Final standings are determined by ALL
PARTICIPATION, HOT ROUND, ACE, and PODIUM points
as well as the Top 4 League, Top 4 Tournament and ApeX Open VICTORY points earned throughout the series.
(8 events total)
Players will receive:
1x points for PDGA Sanctioned League and Unsanctioned Tournament events.
1.5x points for the Sanctioned Tournament events
2x points for the 2023 ApeX Open {APS Championships}
Players MUST attend at least 9 events INCLUDING the ApeX Open (APS Championships) to qualify for series champion.
No participation points awarded for ApeX Open
After the Championship round at the ApeX Open, the top 3 in each division will receive a Trophy and a Cash Prize.

Advanced
Advanced Masters (40+)
Advanced Grandmasters (50+)
Amateur Ladies (All AM Womens divisions)
Intermediate
Recreational
Juniors (18 and under)
You may only compete in 1 division for the entirety of the series
If you switch divisions after you've played 1 event, you will lose any previously earned points
In addition to Sponsorships, a portion of each players fee from each event (excluding ApeX Open) will go into the Prize Pool for their respective division.
