Hello and Greetings from Siem Reap, Cambodia,
My name is Jacob Neff and I am your Tournament Director. For those of you who don’t know, you are about to play a wild brand of disc golf. I believe we have the most challenging and fun course we have ever had. Let me know what you think. We are so excited to have everyone come here to see and see what Cambodia has to offer on and off the course.
This Email will inform you with most aspects of the tournament and a few things about what to expect if it is your first time in Siem Reap.
Getting Around - Once you arrive, you will have many options for transport to and from the Course. I suggest using Grab or Pass App or Renting a motorbike. These work great for anywhere. If you would like a tour arranged for Angkor Wat or nearby areas we can arrange this with a Tuk Tuk or a SUV.
To get to the course, Search The Basket Homestay on google or with the apps for the ride. The apps usually take the roughest roads in so if you remember you can tell the driver to take “Wat Chedi Road” or “Plough Wat Chedi”
Siem Reap - This town has it all. Crazy party vibes as well as a relaxing quiet vibe as soon as you get away from down town. Great grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment. 15 minutes from the course to Downtown.
Angkor Wat Complex - Get a ticket and go explore. It is one of the most amazing places. I suggest the 3 day pass at least. It is really nice to go for half day’s and not exhaust yourself too much. Too much to see.
Visa on Arrival - try to make sure to have $30 USD. The process is easy and smooth.
Hotels - Lots available. Ba’ahu Villa is one that a local suggests. I would say the quality of places in Siem Reap is outstanding.
The Khmer Disc Golf Resort - Formerly The Basket Homestay
We have a bar, restaurant, pro shop, disc golf course, and Bungalow’s on site! We can take some App payments (Venmo or PayPal) 0r Cashapp) or cash. Typically Cambodia is a very Cash dependent country. They Use USD as well as Riel for payments. This is the site of the Khmer Cup and Cambodia’s first Disc Golf Course!

2025 Holiday in Cambodia Course Rules
Unique Rules for this course.
Always try to keep people honest and make them play their lie. It is rare to play here and not bleed a little. However, Cactus, Bladed Grass and Large animals are deemed “Dangerous”. You may play relief away from the basket to the first available site. “Unplayable lie”. Talk about it with the group and make sure everyone is comfortable with this relief. If you feel your lie is “unplayable” and not one of the named plants then talk about it with the group. To the Group - Don’t let people get out of sticking their foot in a bush or having to pitch out and play golf.
If there is a Playoff, start on hole 1 and play until a player wins.
PDGA Scoring will be in Effect. Please download the app “PDGA LIVE” or use pdga.com/score. The password is : holiday . Every player must keep score! Every card will be required to do a minimum of one Paper score card.
