Hello players,

There will be no in person players meeting Saturday morning. This is your players meeting.

Masks that cover your mouth and nose are required when you sign in or any other time you are near the store, tournament central and in your groups if you can’t socially distance. Hand sanitizer is available for your use before you touch any merchandise in the store.

Sign in will be in the pavilion by hole 1. Check in 30 minutes before your tee time. You must let us know you are on site. Be at hole 1 more than 2 minutes before your tee time.

The main lot hold 90 cars max and we have more than that number of players so some will have to park in the lower plantation parking lot by hole 2. If your tee time is afternoon then you will most likely need to park in lower plantation.

For amateurs you get one disc of choice out of my entire inventory. We want the inventory sticker on the back of each disc. Get your players pack disc before you start your round.

With the snow on the ground ribbons attached to your disc is not only allowed but encouraged. Carpenters chalk may be used as well. Once you start looking you have 3 minutes to find your disc or it is lost. Lost discs are one penalty stroke.

THE SNOW IS THICK AND DEEP; THE ROUND WILL BE ARDUOUS AND TIRING. BE PREPARED AND SAFE. Going where others have gone before should be fine, going where few or no other have been will be a severe challenge.

Each card must have one person keep score on the PDGA live scoring PDGA.com/Scores access code ABS and another player keep score via another method (paper or udisc).

The course is NOT closed to the public while the tournament is going on. We still must respect all other park goers. Be polite and inform them that a disc golf tournament is going on and the disc golf course is very busy today for casual play.

For amateur payout, I will be following the 40-50% cut line for who gets payout. Pro Payouts will be done via paypal within 2 days.

Keychain or Koozie ($3)
Clipboard or Sunglasses ($5)
Sportsack, Calendar or Mouse Pad ($8)
Towel or Plastic Water Bottle ($10)
Small Bag, Banner or Metal Mini ($15)

At least top 40% will get prizes.

A B.S. Tournament daily update:

Most of the tee pads we will be using are clear right now. We have people daily reporting conditions and clearing things. We have multiple plans of action that keep changing based on current conditions and future forecast.

Tyler current weather forecast is 2-4 inches of snow starting 6am Thursday till 6am Friday. With this odds are at 8am Friday morning the park gates may be closed until after they plow the roads and parking lots. After that action can be taken. For the first people on the course Friday morning please post when park is open.

For Saturday if the road and parking lots are clear the event will happen.

Ribbons are allowed and encouraged.

Conditions on Saturday will be rough and tiring. If you want to drop from the event please do before 5pm Friday so I can shuffle tee times and card assignments.

Layout may change based on what we have and safety. We will decide on final layout before 6pm Friday.

We will need people on Friday to re-clear tee pads. Please let me know if you are available Friday or even Saturday morning to clear 1 or 2 tee pads and I will assign you which tees to clear.
