Jeff Schaerrer So I’m registered with the PDGA and am going to sign up for MA3, 2 questions. 1) what comes in the player pack? 2) how do I start getting a rating? Is it only from sanctioned tournaments? I’ve only played in 1 and it was luvdubs 2019 @ creekside. Thanks! - Jeff Sep 14, 2019
Mike Buckley It's been about 14 years since I've played in any tournaments. In California it was always the AM2 division. Now I see there is like AM3 & AM4. Should I register as AM2 and if I get absolutely destroyed, drop to a lower division in future tournaments. I don't want to be a sand bagger... Sep 12, 2019

Brian Usher Sep 20, 2019 more importantly - have you been playing much? The MA1 (advanced) will be very competative with player that could score in Open.
Mike Buckley Sep 20, 2019 I have been playing a lot recently. I guess what kind of scores are players generally getting at creekside for example, that are in that division? I don't have a rating.
Brian Usher Sep 21, 2019 you can check out the tournament page of the Creekside Open Am weekend - that will give you the best idea. MA2 winner will probablly be a couple under par.
Jeff M Question...This would be my first tournament and I have yet to register with the PDGA. Am I able to register for the event on 9/6 to secure my spot and update my registration with my PDGA number after 10/1? Sep 5, 2019
Charlotte Christensen Sep 6, 2019 I did that same thing with a tournament two years ago so you should be fine.
