Question about strategy on the Island hole from the Reds: if the drop zone is on the Island at the end of the bridge then doesn't it make sense (if you only care about score, not plastic) to go straight at the Island from the tee and not worry that you can't throw that beat in putter 400 ft. This would give a decent run at birdie at worst.

Thanks to everyone that came out and braved the frigid air today! I'm pleased to tell you that all totaled, we raised $610 and (approx) 40 lbs. of food goods for the Geauga County Jobs and Family Service's food program. Very nice work everyone!! Thank you ALL for your support making the event, not only successful, but FUN!! Don't forget there are other Ice Bowls trying to give back to their communities also. Spread the word and help them help you have some fun!! Hope to see you out there.

It's going to be breezy and chilly tomorrow. With the wind chill, temps will be between 14° and 18° while we're there. If there is a positive note, at least we won't have a bunch of mud to deal with. Remember HQ is AT THE COURSE, so dress warm. No Whimps, No Whiners Haha! (That's my gig)

Looks like the weather won't be too bad to play on Saturday , for the 8th Annual Ice Bowl , out at Punderson State Park . Come on out and have some fun !!
It would be wise to bring a couple cans of food to donate .
