PROMO FOR NEW PLAYERS
The 50% registration promotion applies to PDGA Members who have yet to play in a sanctioned event before the 2024 Emporia Ladies Open. When registering, you will pay the total amount. After approving this is your first sanctioned event, Dynamic Discs will reimburse you 50% of your division's registration fee.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the difficulty of predicting player participation, we can not guarantee a complete player pack and shirt size availability for registrations after Tuesday, September 3.
ABOUT
The 6th Annual Emporia Ladies Open is a ladies-only event in Emporia, KS! The event is a two-day tournament. Two rounds of 18 holes at Peter Pan Park (one round on Saturday, October 5, and one on Sunday, October 6). The course will be set to be fun yet challenging for all divisions.
TEE TIMES/ROUND INFO
Tee times will start at 8:30 am, and players will tee off every 15 minutes on day 1. On day 2, players will do a shotgun start at 8 am. The player cap is 124. Player Packs for all divisions. Optional Ace Pot for $5. The money will go toward the 2024 ace pot if there is no ace during the tournament. The 2024 Ace Pot is at $1,275. CTP prizes will be awarded this year on day 1. Prizes for winning your card will be awarded on both days.
Tee time start time will depend on registration numbers. The tee time could start later than 8 am but not earlier.
Juniors 12 and under will play one round on Saturday.
Must be a current member of the PDGA to participate in a B-Tier. (https://www.pdga.com/rules/competition-manual/101).
This event is the finale of the Heartland Women's Series. The Heartland Series will award the top players and their royalty during the event.
CHECK-IN
We are not having early check-in this year. Players can begin checking in starting at 8 AM on Saturday.
CADDIE PACKS
Caddie packs, which include a caddy shirt, event disc, and a bonus item for $40, are available for purchase. We will not be providing caddies, but we can help yours look awesome while supporting the event. Caddies DO NOT HAVE TO purchase of a pack. The pack is to enhance the caddie's experience.
SCORING
We will utilize the PDGA Digital Scorecard. The ACCESS CODE is ELO, and it is not case-sensitive.
PLAYER PARTY
The players' party is on Saturday, October 5, from 6-8 PM at the Dynamic Discs Pro Shop. We will have our traditional putting competition, TechDisc trials, and break a pinata.
TROPHIES & PAYOUT
We will follow PDGA standards for payouts. The am payout will be to the Dynamic Discs Retail Store (912 Commercial St) or dynamicdiscs.com, and the pros payout will be via PayPal.
Recreation and Junior Divisions play for trophies only. They do not receive payouts but receive a player pack equal to their registration fee.
SPONSORSHIP
We offer hole sponsorship, allowing you to have a sign with your business name or logo near the tee pad for one of the 18 holes. Hole Sponsorship is $40. Interested? You can sign up and pay through our registration link or email us at [email redacted], and we will issue you an invoice. Please send us the image, logo, or design you want on the sign. Cancellations and refund requests must be made by email to [email redacted].
More than seven days before the event, cancellations will receive a full refund minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee.
Participants canceling less than seven days before the tournament date will receive a refund in merchandise equal to the entry fee minus a $5 processing and cancellation fee.
If the participant fails to contact us properly to cancel their spot before the event starts, they will forfeit their entry fee. We will give no player’s packages to non-competitors instead of entry fees or store credit. While this policy will be in effect this season, it may change for specific events.
