About this tournament

Tiered entry fees - I’ve always heard to “Get in where you fit in.”

We want the Fly Guy NC Am Tour to encourage fair and equitable competition, and encourage a wide skill set of Amateur players to participate.

We also want to have a model that encourages one to move up when they feel ready for greater rewards.

One way we set out to do this is through a tiered entry fee.

Novice Divisions will be the lowest cost to enter - for this event only $30 - but will be player pack and 1st place trophy only.

Competitive Jr divisions and both Rec Divisions will see a slightly increased entry fee and will be player pack and small payout to 45% of the field.

As divisions increase, so do entries, and so do winnings.

Intermediate will see the field payout drop to 45%.

Advanced divisions will have the richest per player winning margin, and pay at 45% of the field.

The current plan is for 2 rounds. The Tee assignments will be updated as the event approaches.

The plan for any layouts will be decided as the event nears.

THIS EVENT WILL FEATURE 2 BOTTLES OF WATER, 2 DISCS AND A SHIRT IN THE PLAYER PACK. PLAYER PACK IS VALUED AT $50.

THIS EVENT ALSO WILL FEATURE A SPECIAL SURPRISE AWARD FOR THE DIVISION WINNERS.

THIS EVENT IS CAPPED AT 72 PLAYERS FOR SIGN UPS. THERE IS A WAITLIST OF 10 PEOPLE. WHEN ONE PERSON DROPS OUT, IT MAY OPEN UP A SPOT ON THE WAITLIST.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS AFTER 6:00 PM ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 23, 2021.

THERE WILL BE NO DAY OF REGISTRATION OR WALK ON SPOTS.

Of course, local regulations pertaining to gathering and Covid may force the events to be modified.

Round 1 begins. Offfical scores must be kept using https://www.pdga.com/apps/tournament/score/login
