- If you do not have a PDGA rating, the Tournament Director can help you choose a division.
- If you'd like to request a division not listed, please email [email redacted] or call/text 301-338-4533.
CTP and putting contests
- Free to participate.
- We will have a CTP contest during the event.
- For those who don't want to complete a round, we will have a putting contest (if we have enough volunteers to help).
Layout
- Most players will complete two loops of the nine-hole course for a total of 18 holes.
- Players in MJ12/FJ12 and below will complete only one loop of the nine-hole course.
- Age-protected divisions are based on how old a player turns in 2026.
Volunteers
- The ACDGC would appreciate the help of some volunteers for this event.
- Volunteers get into the festival at no charge (does not include any food-related benefits).
- Volunteers are eligible to compete in the tournament.
Rules
- Though not a sanctioned event, official rules of disc golf still apply.
- Event staff will continue to offer basic instruction prior to the start of a player's round on an as-needed basis.
- The club will have plenty of discs for players to borrow for their round (please return them when finished).
Awards
- In past years, new discs have usually been awarded to division winners.
Scoring
- All players are strongly encouraged to down the uDisc app and create a free account prior to event day.
- Upon checking in at Tournament Central (near tee pad #1 at Hoffman Park), players will check in to uDisc and choose the appropriate division.
- Event staff will be on hand to assist.
History behind this event
- This tournament began in the form of a CTP and putting contest in 2023 when the Western Maryland Food Truck Festival was still in Cresaptown.
- The festival moved to Hoffman Park in 2024.
- As Hoffman Park has a nine-hole course, it allowed the ACGDC to turn the CTP/Putting contests into a full-fledged tournament.
- This event has, since 2023, been the ACDGC's single largest community outreach event each year (and it's not even close).
- Though we're implementing a few changes for 2026, we hope we keep to the "chill vibes" offered in previous years.
