Welcome to the 2026 home page of the I-68 Disc Golf Tour.
The series will include events at courses all along I-68 in Maryland, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Every course is within approximately 45 minutes of I-68. So far, we have events from the Allegany County Disc Golf Club, Western Maryland Disc Golf, and the Fairmont Flyers Disc Golf Club.

The ACDGC has a mission to grow the game of disc golf. In order for people to play, the game must be accessible. For it to be accessible, it must be affordable. The ACDGC strives to keep costs as low as possible while providing high-quality competition.
In accordance with the above mission, the ACDGC is reaching out to regional clubs and TDs that put on high-quality, low-cost events that offer quality competition in the tri-state area. TDs/events opting in to be a part of the I-68 Disc Golf Tour would remain independent of the ACDGC in every way.

Timeframe
- Disc golf is a year-round sport. I-68 DGT events will be facilitated from March through December in 2026.
- Most will be on weekends.
- There will be some Tuesday night competitive opportunities in this series (between mid-July and mid-September).
Methods/format
- Not all events will be PDGA-sanctioned tournaments.
- Not all events will be PDGA-sanctioned rounds.
- All events will follow PDGA rules.
- Some events will be in the ACDGC's Spring League (Saturdays with a 3:15 p.m. tee time from March 7- May 9) and Dog Days of Summer League (Tuesday nights, 5:30 p.m. tee time, from July 15 - Sept. 16).
- The Spring League is PDGA-sanctioned.
- All players in the Spring League will compete during the round in either MA1 or FA1.
- However, players will earn points within their "normal/designated" competitive divisions for I-68 Disc Golf Tour points.
- This allows the club to keep things affordable. Those sanctioned league rounds will be $1 per player, per week.
- Not all Spring League or Dog Days of Summer League rounds will be part of the I-68 Disc Golf Tour.
- Every single I-68 Disc Golf Tour event will have a separate "tournament" page listed on Disc Golf Scene, and will fully explain each event as we go along.
Field caps/maximize sizes
- Some events will be contested on nine-hole courses.
- That will limit the field to a max of 36-45 players.
- It is imperative that players who want to compete in the I-68 event pre-register for events (the sooner, the better).
How players choose their divisions
- Players can choose any division for which they are eligible.
- That division, of course, must be offered by the event TD.
- Players can ask a TD for a division to be added.
- TDs can consider such requests on a case-by-case basis.
- It benefits a player to choose a division they believe will be offered at all, or most, of the events.
- Players should know that in ACDGC-run events, players who move up to the next-highest division in the most recent ratings update will be moved to that division for the next event.
- For example, if a player in MA4 rated 845 at time of registration has a rating of 855 at the next ratings period, but before the event, the player will be moved to MA3.
- Players should plan accordingly.
Points
- A player must compete in a minimum of 4 events (in the same division) to qualify for end-of-season recognition.
- A player's best 9 events (points-wise) will count towards a player's point total.
- For regular I-68 DGT events, this is the points model:
- 1 point = everyone who completes the tournament
- 5 points = 1st place
- 4 points = 2nd place
- 3 points = 3rd place
- 2 points = 4th place
- 1 point = 5th place
- For I-68 DGT elite events, this is the points model:
- 1 points = everyone who completes the tournament
- 12 points = 1st place
- 9 points = 2nd place
- 6 points = 3rd place
- 4 points = 4th place
- 3 points = 5th place
Elite events
- Elite events include the Sideling Hill Soiree (5/16), the Checkered Chains Open (6/27), the Fall Foliage Fling (10/11) and Christmas at the Cove (12/5).
- The designation of "elite" is to help reward the tour's partnerships between the Allegany County Disc Golf Club, Western Maryland Disc Golf, and the Fairmont Flyers.
- The designation also helps to provide an incentive to players to sign up for those four events.
Qualifying for the I-68 DGT finale
- Christmas at the Cove (12/5) is the tour finale.
- Players who qualify for the event will have access to early registration.
- Players who qualify for the event also will be the only ones who are in contention for end-of-season recognition.
How to qualify
- Place 1st in a player's intended division in a regular I-68 DGT event.
- Place 1st, 2nd or 3rd in an elite I-68 DGT event.
- A player must qualify only once for the finale.
- If a player who has already qualified for the finale finishes first, then that qualifying spot (and any subsequent qualifying spots, if an elite event) would fall to the next lower spot in the event's division standings.
Awards
- Trophies to division winners.
- A player must compete in at least 4 events (in the same division) to qualify for a division award.
- Not all events offer the same divisions.
- Points earned in one division do not carry over/cannot be combined with points earned in another division.
- It is possible for the same player to compete/contend in multiple divisions.
- Here's a "for an example" — If a player starts the year in MA4, but the player's PDGA rating compels that player to compete in MA3 (or higher), the player will not continue to earn points in MA4.
