Kevin, thanks for running another great Ace Race. My group had a ball and have already said they will plan on playing next year. Although I had only one ace I must have set some kind or record with 7 metals so I'm certainly not disappointed. Also, good decision to put folks minds at ease about the recent positive WNV report. Being an entomologist I was not too worried since the mosquito activity in the woods seemed to be very light. I had actually played the course the evening before and didn't notice them then either.

Thanks to everyone who came out and played, supported, assisted, and/or enjoyed the event. I am trying to post results, but the scoring template isn't behaving so I have a message sent to the Webmaster for the site to assist. I'll post the overall results here and the group picture soon. Do you have any idea on what the distances around gonna range from for the holes yet? Also I will be bringing 2 baskets but one is a skill shot basket, which can be a tricky one, but everything can't be easy. What time are you showing up to get everything set up?

OK, here's the situation:

2 are in XL and 1 is going to be XL or 2XL, whatever is left. I can't promise which it will be. If you want the chance of it being 2XL, you can register for that one.

The discs are in, and I think they are going to be very well-received. The perception I've heard is that they appear to look just like an Innova Aviar Putt & Approach. That is a good comparison, but from my unscientific perception, the Ace Race disc has a wider flat plate area on the top, whereas the Aviars appear to me to taper a little quicker as they approach the rim. The plastic feels perfect for a putter, a bit soft and grippy, making them ideal for controlling and sticking into chains.

I have a very large range of colors that will be on hand. They will be first-come, first-serve. Priority will be given to those who are willing to assist with running things at the park.

The T-shirts have either black, white, or day-glo-yellow print, all in the dark grey shown in the sample. The only exception is the one ladies package ordered, which has shorter sleeves, a v-neck, and pink print on the grey.

If anyone has any baskets they can loan for the event, please let me know and then bring them next week. Thank you! This may be especially ideal given the final note below:

Per https://www.wadsworthcity.com/ , there has been a confirmation that a sample of mosquitoes taken from Memorial Park this year tested positive for West Nile Virus. I am going to consult the city on any recommendations, but I will be providing repellent for all golfers at the event, and there is a chance I may divert some of the planned hole locations to steer clear of some locations where mosquitoes may be out during the afternoon (possibly holes 1-3 and 7), but I have not decided on this for certain. Any feedback is encouraged.

...and I will be opening one last additional shirt to what is listed above in three of these 4 categories, after I confirm the shirt size of an early registrant (who registered before it was announced that shirts were in this year's package).

When those are all gone, registration is closed for good.
