I'm easy going. $25 or $35, 1 round or 2. It's all good, lets just have some fun.

Justin H    February 25, 2011 at 6:59pm

I will pay $35

Also if it is really crappy weather, (stupid snow) we might change to just 1 round of 18 or maybe 27.

A thought for the open players, currently the sign up fee is $25 which doesn't leave much available for pay-out. If all players agree to pay $35 we can add the extra to payout to sweeten the pot. Let me know what you guys think.

Now calm down "Sidearm", it's not a PDGA major super-tour event. However, I will work on posting the rules and even e-mailing them to registered players. How about we all concentrate on getting some sponsorship funds going so we can reach our goal of $1600 for the Ronald McDonald House! Last year we donated $1580 plus 350lb's of food to the food bank! Also please pre-register as soon as possible so you can get a players pack.

I've heard the format is worst drive only, not worst approach. Is this true? I just want to know the rules before I get there.

Jessie TITO Amador    February 16, 2011 at 8:37am

well dave I cant tell you what person invented worst shot format, but what can you do. what your suggesting isnt a bad idea but it seems like nothing will change. and so on!!!!

I recommend we use the rule "When either player holes out, the team holes out". Example, if either player hits an Ace the team gets an ace, but if we both miss the ace we take the worst drive. If either player hits the birdie the team gets a birdie, but if we both miss the birdie we take the worst approach. And so on.

$25 per player, and yes it can be challenging. There will be Mulligans for sale which can help take the bite out of some bad drives!

is $25 the team total,or is it $25 per player. worst shot sounds challanging and I am going to see about playing this tourney
