Disc Golfers!
The 4th Annual Infinite Discs Kanab Campout is upon us! I can’t wait to see everyone in one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Please drive safe!
Hole assignments are already available on pdga.com. Please be aware that even though it says everyone is playing the Advanced layout, that is not the case. The only way I can group mixed divisions together is to all indicate the same layout per the PDGA criteria. The layouts will be corrected as soon as the rounds are complete. That will also fix PDGA ratings.

Mixed divisions? Because we have an odd amount of players in each division, it is necessary to create a few mixed division groups. I tried to organize them the best way possible, and as random as possible. The second round, all groups will be organized by score. The worse scores will be added into mixed groups.
Scoring
We prefer scoring to be done digitally, but can accommodate a backup paper scorecard if needed. Two scorers from each group will be scoring. The official scores will be done through the PDGA live scoring website. The second scorer we would prefer to be using UDisc.

Check In and Players Packs
You can check in and grab your players packs (Tournament stamped Infinite I-Blend Disc) anytime on Friday and from 8:00am – 9:00am on Saturday morning. Pro divisions do not receive a players pack.
Rules and Layout
The layout will stay close to the original layout, with some added new placements on some holes, and some added OB and Mandos on others. There is an additional hole after holes 4 and 18. Please see the map. Because we have added holes, the hole numbers will be slightly different. Please make sure you are throwing the holes in order and throwing to the correct basket!
The water is not as high as the years past so we have incorporated string OB on holes 1, 3, 11, 15, and 20. The string is the OB line. If the string becomes loose for any reason, draw an imaginary line from the nearest flags and create an OB line that way. This should only effect hole 1. Benefit of the doubt goes to the player. You can always play a provisional shot if needed.
The water also has mud leading up to the water. Because of this we have incorporated the MUDDY BANKS RULE, which means that you get 2 meter relief from all water edges so that you are not sinking in the mud on your throws. Be careful around the water please. Also, there area areas of water that are not connected to the main reservoir. Any water that is not directly connected to the main reservoir is considered casual water and you are able to take relief from that water without a penalty.
There is no 2 meter rule.
Camping
The Kanab Campout is truly unique as the site is a vast area of free camping where you can park, pitch a tent, etc… pretty much wherever and whenever you want. There are plumbed bathrooms at tournament central near hole 1. Everything else is primitive camping. Please have fun with it, but do not drive or camp on the disc golf course.
Other Fun Stuff
On Friday, May 14th, we will also be holding the Infinite Discs Tour Flex Start Challenge C-Tier event. This gives you an opportunity to come and get another rated round before the event. The course is not closed to casual players at this time either. So, feel free to participate in the C-Tier or come and practice the course how you want. If you are playing the Flex Start, you can start your round anytime between 9:00am – 6:00pm. You do not need to be pre-registered to play. You can pay day of. Although, if you would like to register now, you can do so at this link.

Keith Howells will be setting up the PYRAMID OF BASKETS on Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00pm! Come and play!
There is a $5 ace pot going on during the event. You can pay to enter the ace pot anytime before an ace is hit. If there are multiple aces, we will split the money up evenly between the winners. If there is no ace hit, we have a CTP after the awards and the closest 3 discs will split the ace pot.
We have 5 Cash CTP’s during the event on holes 5,6,8,12, and 15. You need to pay in to be eligible to win cash on a cash CTP. If you haven’t already done so, you can pay anytime before the 1st round.
We will also be raffling off a white ROVIC DISC GOLF CART and a CUSTOM DD PARATROOPER BACKPACK BAG, among other things after the awards ceremony. You can buy raffle tickets anytime on Friday or Saturday.
