Welcome and thank you to everyone for signing up for the 4th Annual Hinson Lake Classic! This is the signature event of the Richmond County Disc Golf Group, and this event has grown tremendously once again entering year 4. Below is all of the information needed for our players to be prepared and ready for this amazing event. We will be set up between Holes 17 and 18 tomorrow morning to provide players packs and to answer all additional questions. Hole assignment have been posted, and can be found at 4th Annual Hinson Lake Classic.
This email will act as the Players Meeting for the morning. THERE WILL BE NO FORMAL PLAYERS MEETING AND ONCE PLAYERS ARE CHECKED-IN THEY ARE TO PROCEED AS THEY WISH, AND NEED TO BE AT THEIR STARTING HOLE BY TEE TIME.
Jimmy McDonald will be the assistant TD for this event, and will be assisting with check-in the morning. Below is the remaining information, and as always please do not hesitate to ask myself or Jimmy McDonald any questions!

Format:
- AM Only, 2-Round, C-Tier

- Player Sign-Ups/Players Pack Pick Up: 8:00 - 8:50 adjacent to Hole 17/18.
- Shotgun Start with 1st Round starting at 9:30 and 2nd Round starting an hour after the last card has finished
- BOTH Rounds will play the 19-Hole Tournament Layout. NO Alternate baskets or tee pads at this years event.
Players Pack/Payout:
- Tournament Logo T-Shirt courtesy of Jeffs Trophy's and Tees. This years color is Heather Military Green
- Tournament Stamped Disc courtesy of Dynamic Discs - a variety of options will be available and be first come, first serve.
- $5 in Lucky Bucks to Lucky Disc Golf
- ALL Division Winners as well as the rest of the top-3 of each division will receive a trophy courtesy of Big Oak Disc Golf.
Other Details:
- Ace Pot: The pot starts at $230 and smaller than last year due to two straight events of someone hitting an ace. The odds are in someone's favor to snag one this go around. If no ace is hit then 50% of the pot will go to the RCDGG, and the other 50% will be raffled off to players via OTB gift cards. Hole 1 is EXCLUDED from the ace pot.
- Raffles: Players that buy into the raffle will have the chance to win several prizes ranging from OTB gift cards to discs to hats. Players will receive their winnings prior to the trophy ceremony at the conclusion of the event.
- There will a CTP on HOLE 12 for ALL groups during the 1st Round of the event. There will be no CTP flag! Each group is responsible for sending the player with the CTP to the registration tent after Round 1 to select a CTP Prize from the discs and items the Richmond County Disc Golf Group will have for players to chose from.
Out of Bounds/Hazards (Info will also be within PDGA live scoring):
Hole 1: Left of fairway, and beyond open space where basket is located. Marked by orange whisker markers.
Hole 4: On or Beyond Pathway. Marked by orange whisker markers. Mando marked on tree within the fairway. Proceed to drop zone.
Hole 11: OB Beyond basket. Marked by orange whisker markers.
Hole 13: OB in the tall grass on the right side of the fairway.
Hole 14: OB in the tall grass on the right side of the fairway.
Hole 16: OB On or Beyond Pathway along the left side of the fairway.
Hole 17: OB Short and in the creek. Go to Drop Zone.
Hole 18: OB within area painted with white paint. This includes rocks, tall area of grass to the right of rocks, and the lake.
Hole 19: Island green marked by white paint. Proceed to drop zone with 1-stroke penalty if OB. If OB from the drop zone then play from last location in-bounds.
