I’m walking the course now, and just wondering why Rec is playing from the golds? 612 ft. Par 3 through the woods and maybeeeee 3 holes that are gettable for someone who throws around 315.

Which tee boxes will be used for each division?

1st round will be gold for all divisions except Juniors and Women, They will play Blues both rounds. 2nd round will be Blues for all divisions except pros which will play another gold round.

I want to sign up for this event but would need to travel and stay the night before. Is there any chance of this event being canceled due to lack of turnout or will it happen no matter what? I’d hate to book a hotel then have to cancel and possibly lose out on that money.

@Felix there was a really good turnout last year when my friends and I went. Everyone had a really good time so I'm sure alot of people will be returning

First Flight will definitely be happening regardless of numbers and even the wonderful South Georgia weather
There are a few holes were the tee signs are incorrect. Holes 4 and 8 play as a par 4. yet are marked on the tee signs as par 3.
Rec players are still looking at scores of +20 anything other would be an amazing round from the golds
Under +20,
The SSA for the gold tees is 66 or +3. Meaning a 1000 rated player will shoot 66 and still get a rating of 1000. During the last few tournaments the Rec Players, which is the division I play in, the average score was +17. Last sanctioned event rec also played Gold, I shoot an 85, +22 which was a 814 rated round.
