The 3 Course Challenge was created partly as an endurance test. Later it became a showcase as a pre-event for the GVM. Since we were forced to withdraw our presence at River Bends (2 words BTW), we moved the GVM to OU and they gladly accepted us. There is no doubt that RB is one of my favorite courses around here but OU is a great fit as well.
