event recap: nobody sat around for long! people showed up early, we got them out on the course early, rd 2 started at 1 p.m. sharp! we cashed out the last winner at 3:45 p.m. and we were packed up and out of there by 4:30!!!! huge thanks to all that lent a hand to ensure this event continues to run very smooth. special thanks to stephan "ss" swafford, jason "the midnight toker" josaitis, greg "wolfman jack" wills and eric "bill gates" webber.....incredible work!....especially with the live scoring!!!

pre- tourney dubs at marshall park recap: 17 people braved the 81 degree temps, 5-10 mph winds and pure sunshine to compete in this random draw dubs to kick off the weekend! no one hit an ace so wee threw off for it ctp style....i believe nate kempf won the cash! there were 9 ctp's!!! winners included greg mck., marty shirley, eric webber, mark b., dustin ingles, casey turner (2) and micah bolander (2)....congrats to all! several side games afterward, can not remember who all the winners were!

We will be there bright and early to start registering folks and sending them out. We will start people as soon as 4 show up from each division to make a card. We will send folks off tees 1 and 10.
There will not be community water stations so be sure to bring lots of water with you.
Lunch will not be provided for this event, so it would be a good idea to pack a snack. If you want to make a quick trip to grab a bite the warrior pizza place is close and they were a course sponsor. Other places are a bit further away on Lexington Springmill rd.

The gravel walking trails are not defined on the edges enough to make them O.B. and making the O.B. really wouldnt change the course play much.

I have had multiple requests for this. I am excited and I hope you enjoy it. For those who have not participated in an event with live scorecards, it is very easy. I will have all instructions and the event code on tournament day. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE IS CHARGED. No app download needed.

To kick off this "back-to-back" dg weekend of events,  we will run a friday night random draw dubs at marshall park!!!  $5 buy in with optional $1 ace pool. We'll pay out more than top 1/3'rd and if ... show more ›

To kick off this "back-to-back" dg weekend of events,  we will run a friday night random draw dubs at marshall park!!!  $5 buy in with optional $1 ace pool. We'll pay out more than top 1/3'rd and if no one hits the ace we will throw off for it at the end. Check-in starts at 5 p.m. Shot gun start at 6 p.m. sharp.  There will be numerous donated ctp's to be won too!!!   YEAH!  This will give some people a chance to get extra practice on the course, etc.... So much fun to be had by most!

COVID Guidelines - Please read. If you are feeling sick please stay home.

Keep an eye out in these comments because the situation seems to be ever evolving......

I will be there at or before 7:30am , we'll be ready to check-in/ register people by 7:45 a.m. and will start teeing off groups from staggered holes at 8:00 a.m. sharp to promote social distancing (no formal player meeting)...first come, first served! We will do our best to card 4 people all from the same division or at least same tees. It should work out just fine but in this environment we just ask that everyone keep 3 themes in mind: patience, understanding and cooperation.

Check-in/ reg. ends at 9:30 and we hope to have everyone tee'd off for round by approx. 9:45am. There will be NO player meeting, all needed info will be conveyed to each individual group as you are sent out to tee off at your hole assignment.

There will be an "enhanced" player pack for all ams valued at $25 (usually $15) to promote less vending during payouts at the end. There will be 3 to 4 different player pack options available to choose from!

There will be no ceremonial event after to avoid large gatherings. As the event gets closer things may change.

Event fees will be reimbursed if you become ill and cannot attend or if the events get cancelled.
