We'll do our best to make sure you have a positive experience, from registration to the awards ceremony. The club specializes in pairing a low-key atmosphere with friendly, high-level competition. It's important for players to understand that (a) this event page is the first impression of the event, and it helps to set expectations between now and event day. The second set of expectations comes in the form of an email from the TD. The email will be sent on Thursday, May 14 to all registered players. The email will provide updates to players, and possible changes to things like the estimated timeline, the new estimate being based on the known list of players in the field.
Pre-tournament email will be sent the evening of Thursday, May 14.
Incentive to enter - drawing for $75 gift card to OTB East
- One thing we're doing to incentivize early registration is to offer each athlete a chance at a $75 gift certificate to OTB East. Here's how this will work:
- The free ticket to the drawing will be included in a player's entry into the main event of the Sideling Hill Soiree.
- The event is capped at 45 players. The first player registered will have their name in the digital hat 45 times. The second player to register will have their name in 44 times, and so on.
- If only 40 players register, for example, then the player who registered first will have their name in 40 times, the second 39, and so on.
- Those who register and then withdraw from the event, and who receive a full or partial refund, will not be eligible for the drawing unless and until they re-register for the event (at their new spot in line).
- Event staff are not eligible for the drawing.
Focused on Juniors
- Though open to all amateurs, this event will cater to Juniors competitors. We think you're gonna have a great time! Please note, MJ/FJ15 division players (and below) will compete only in Round 2.
Club competition
- For Juniors (MJ/FJ18 and below) only
- Between 3 and 5 competitors per team
- If more than 5, can have a "varsity" and "JV" team
- Team competition at no extra charge
- Team competition plans (and rosters) must be finalized no later than May 1.
- Club coordinator: Please email [email redacted] for details.
Volunteers
- We will have spotters on hole 8/17 to help spot discs. This should address 90 percent of the back-up issues we faced in 2025.
- The success of this event relies heavily on a small but dedicated group of volunteers. If you want to spend part of your Memorial Day weekend enjoying the great outdoors with great food and music, and awesome people, please send an email to [email redacted] with your information.
- We'll need people to fill positions at check-in, during the awards ceremony, and "disc spotting" during the event, among other areas.
Sponsors
- This event will not be possible without the support of local businesses and organizations that seek to support a competitive opportunity for athletes of all ages.
- There are eighteen (18) hole sponsor slots available @ $35 apiece.
- Each $35 sponsor slot includes 1 tournament entry
- There is one "presenting sponsor" slot available. Email [email redacted] for details on what you get for each sponsorship level.
Registration
- Cap of 45 players for each round.
- In general, card requests will not be honored.
- Players age 12 and under should be accompanied by a person age 16 or older. That person can be a player or non-player.
- For those 12 and under, please submit card requests during registration in the "notes/comments" section.
Entry fee
- $15 for Juniors/Women's divisions
- $20 for all others (including Juniors playing in adult divisions)

- Having a non-morning start time allows families/players from across the region to travel safely to Little Orleans in a timely manner. The delayed start time also allows younger players the opportunity to perform at their peak instead of being drowsy through the first round.
