For the Series itself or for each tournament? I know some will offer MA3 like the Throwdown at Whale Rock. I think it is unfair not offering MA3 since it was offered at last years Pinto Challenge. If this was my rookie year I would be upset and bummed. Disc golf as a whole has grown, more players are playing, more are joining tournaments and the sport is growing. As per PDGA MA2 is specifically for players rated at 900. Many of us are not at 900+ and are moving up anyways, it is really unfair for those low end players in the high 700s and low 800s ratings who love this sport and would like to compete. I understand for those players who do not wish to participate because they feel intimidated and choose not to play in a higher division or play and place low in the division. This tournament is also a C tier, as a local from Watsonville I would love to see more people playing and feeling comfortable playing in their division. But I guess this tournament is now limited and that's a shame. Hopefully people will still sign up and make this tournament a fun one.
