Can anyone confirm camping is allowed at the nature preserve. Or any other nearby areas. From out of state and really appreciate any advice/ help.

Just confirmed there is camping. You should definitely call them ahead of time. $5 a day. There is also Lake Holbrook about 15 minutes west, and I believe they allow camping as well.
