Howard Gest DGC is thrilled to host this event in honor of Halloween!!!
This will be a Halloween themed tournament. Meaning cool props and decorations will be spread throughout the course. Creating a horrifying atmosphere for the players Muahahaha!!! We will have plenty of spooky prizes, great food, and much more ghoulish fun!!!
The tournament will begin at 9AM on Saturday October 19th.
Registration will be the day of from 6:45AM-8:45AM at the course. You can pay in the form of cash, Venmo, or PayPal. Also, you can message us early to register in advance, so we can get your team in the books. Then all your team must do is pay the fee when you check in the day of the tournament.
The lane to the course parking and entry board is by the Howard Gest Memorial sign. Located to the west of 29169 Maystead Road, Sturgis, MI 49091. Signs for parking will be posted along with staff to help direct traffic.
The cost is $70 per team, $5 more per player for the 50/50 CTP (closet to the pin). We have many other prizes as well. Food will be provided for everyone during lunch, as this is already included in your entry cost.
This will be an open division tournament. Unless we have more than 20 teams registered. Then we will have a Am and Pro division based on your PDGA rating.
The first round will be from the longs, and the second round from the shorts.
The first round will start at 9AM, when everyone has finished registering.
Once everyone has completed their round. We will have a one-hour lunch before starting the second round. We will be serving burgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, pop and water.
The second round will begin immediately following lunch.
The winners will be determined by stroke play. The best combined score from both rounds.
Prizes/payouts will go as follows; 1st (100%) place payout with 11 participants and under. 1st (70%) and 2nd (30%) place payouts with 12+ participants. 1st (50%), 2nd (30%) and 3rd (20%) place payouts with 24+ participants. The prizes/payouts will be handed out after everyone has completed the round and scores verified.
