25 min lunch was the wackist thing I have ever heard/scene and sidegames were kinda hard to participate in unless u were pooled to be done quick. 25 min lunch almost made me file a complaint with pdga. But thankfully the scheduel was way behind and it worked out beside that everything was A1 kudos tourney staff.

I cancelled before the event, but me (and others) showed up in the day 1 results as no-shows. I don't know about the others' situations, but I hope people were not turned away because of this.

Sorry if I am irritated for no reason. Just trying to clarify. Sounds like it was a good event. Wish I could have been there.

Interesting to say the least. As for the scoring I too notice that all divisions are assumed to have played the same course. That will affect all ratings. Also those who did not finish should also be added to final results. Those who did finish deserve the extra points they would receive for finishing ahead of them. Overall, now tied with BG Ams for fave tourney and one that I won;t miss again. Thanks to all involved.

The pooling was necessary to fit the players who signed up. All's we have to do is get the PRO's and AM1's to fill the pool in advance (PRE-REGISTERED) and you won't be pooled with other AM divisions. lol.
Our job is to fill the event, the players job is to sign up. We did our part even turning away some players.

If anyone is wondering what I thought of the tournament, lol here goes. I want to start by saying that I had a great time overall, and I thought that they put forth tons of effort to make sure everyone had a good experience (mini golf, side games galore, beer, raffles, good fly mart, beer, and lots of help for all of this). Although it is impossible to make everyone happy, I'm sure that you will hear complaints. If I was forced to think of some off the cuff I would say that I hated the grouping of divisions. I've never played more of a momentum breaking round my first round on Blue, I just wanted it to end, and it's a good thing I didn't have a weapon. Also the results are critical to get posted, and posted correctly not grouped all together as if we were all on the same course at the same time. It is as important as ice cream is to a hot fudge sunday (no lol). Oh yeah and we wanna see it with the payouts posted. All in all it was a good experience, and thanks for all of the work that went into the temp course we couldn't have had that many people without it, and I kinda like tons of O.B. and sidearm shots so eh. The main reason why I'm posting this is because they (tournament people) made me feel like they really care about making this a premier event again and were looking for some feedback from the players, so here is some of my opinion. i do have to give one idea for next year with as many people that were there practicing the courses on friday there should have been a checkin table on friday at the same time they were doing the dubs. that is all.

island hole 18 requires landing inside the circle of the island (rope line) or OB and stroke'd retee. maximum 3 OB's move to drop zone lying 6. no retreival of discs between throws.

We will not send 3-somes out for any reason. 2 or 3 years ago DGLO lesson. As the players don't know the rules and played in 2-somes we will not send out 3-somes except in dire situations. 7 groups of 2-somes played the 2nd round that way. if they do it this year they will face being DQ'd.
If there are 3 somes they will be only a few to avoid the possibility of 2 somes.
We will move them if more room is needed in your pool.
MM1 should not be that slow they are playing all shorts.

if we get a lot of AM2's or Pro's tomorrow morning then we will move the MM1's to Pool C unless there is no room over there for them.
