18 holes modified layout.

Brock Pitzer   October 7, 2020 at 8:24am

sweet!

Bill Block    October 2, 2020 at 5:40pm

Pro players please note that I have moved the time up for your first round on Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 1:00. I want to make sure that we are not chasing daylight and complete the round before you need glow discs.

Will check in for a pool be available later in the day on Saturday or is it only in the morning? Like if I got there around noon would I still be able to check in for the 2pm tee time? Thank you

Bill Block   October 2, 2020 at 4:03am

Jonathon, yes. Just a heads up, though,

Bill Block   October 2, 2020 at 4:05am

I will probably move tee off to 1:00 to make sure you finish before dusk. But noon is fine for check in.

Jonathan Bo-o   October 2, 2020 at 6:55pm

Great, thank you very much!

It's been a month since you heard from me, so here's an update. I don't need to tell you that Covid has changed the way things are done and has affected our everyday's lives. That's certainly been the case for the Treebash. The city entered Phase 3 of Covid a few weeks ago, which provided an opening to hold events on the city courses (Thorpe and McP). We jumped on the opportunity and submitted an application to use both courses. The permit approval process is a bit ... more

Any specific Hotel sponsors? thanks in advance.

After considering potential dates, we settled on 9-11 October. Unfortunately, it conflicts with the NADGT in Phoenix and a private, invite-only event in the White Mountains. We regret the conflicts, but felt that this is our best option.

Hi Bill,
Please refund me for the tourney as I can’t make it in October and was unable to find the email to request a refund . Bummer, but understand it’s out of your control.
Thanks

I'm a different Bill, but I had to cancel also....log into DiscGolfScene, then come to the registration page for this tournament, under your name you should see a 'button' to withdraw.

Jeff Lunsford   August 14, 2020 at 5:59pm

Do we know if there is a way to get a full refund? We should not get hit with the withdrawal fee in this situation.

Bill Fleming   August 19, 2020 at 5:35pm

Again....I'm not Bill Block....but I had to withdraw and got the "full" refund. I got $80 back (MA3 entry fee). There was less than $3 that I didn't get back.

Bill Block    August 6, 2020 at 9:47pm

Tournament Update: Well folks, given circumstances and limitations for holding the Treebash Aug 28-30, we need to kick the can down the road and postpone the tournament. We've been working with local authorities to pull it off, but they are adhering to the Governor's executive order limiting events to 50 people. Given that we have 170 registered and 15 on the waitlist, a limit of 50 just won't work. These people are in a tough spot and I understand and appreciate their concerns ... more

Bummer. The new dates won't work for me, so I've requested a refund. Hopefully, I'll be able to take part next year.

I would also like to get a status update on this tournament.

Bill Block   August 3, 2020 at 5:23pm

At this point, the tournament is still on. We've had to adjust to meet guidelines of local authorities. Specifically, we need to limit numbers of players using Fort Tuthill course each day, but have tentative approval to use NAU as a second course. We expect confirmation from NAU today or tomorrow (2 or 3 Aug).

Bill Fleming   August 6, 2020 at 5:05pm

Have you heard anything from NAU? With 170 players will you be splitting the players into two shotgun start times (morning and afternoon) - or larger cards?
