Quite a few people have asked about why only C-Tier (when in past it's generally always been B-Tier or even SuperTour). In COVID era - C-Tier eliminates the requirement for players packages, and allows for a payout only event. There will be no players packages and people will be on their own for food this year - given all the CDC and ND state government recommendations for sporting events. Please ensure you are supplied with water. Though we will have bottled water available on the course (and hand sanitizer).
However, the payouts will be at least B-Tier quality (40% pro fields and (50% adv fields). There is approximately $1225 from previous tournaments $5 per person that will be added and another ~ $1300 in added sponsorship (so far) that will be added into the payouts for pro and adv divisions - and per the requirements all of this will be split based on the percentages of entry fees. So for example: if there are 10 open players and 10 Masters pro players and 10 advanced players . Net entry fees are $950 and $750 and $550 respectively, and with ~$2500 added to the event payouts totals would be: approximately $2000 for pro's, $1600 for masters, and $1200 for Advanced. And payouts per place will be based on the PDGA tournament payout calculator.
