I sent the following email out to everyone just now:
Ok,

It looks like the worst of the weather will be here sometime in the early afternoon tomorrow. Because of that, we have decided to move round 1's tee time to 8:00 am. Check-in will be by the hole 1 pavilion between 7:00 and 7:45. Everyone must check in!

We have also decided to play the 18 hole layout instead of the 21 hole layout to help with timing. That means you will not play Temp Hole A or B after hole 6. You will go directly to hole 7. You will also not play temp hole C off the dock after hole 10. You will proceed directly to hole 11. Please note that we will still be playing the short basket on hole 10 as regularly scheduled. There should be a garbage bag over the other basket for temp hole C.

My apologies for us having to make so many last minute changes, but our goal is to get two rounds in if possible.

I have emailed out the players meeting to everyone. Here it is in case you didn't get it:

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the 21st annual Alma Greens! On behalf of the WAFDA board, I'd like to thank you for signing up and joining us for this tournament. You can find everything you need to know about the tournament in the attached PDF.

As you know, we are expecting some unfavorable weather tomorrow. We are keeping a close eye on it and will be making some decisions later today on how to proceed. As of right now, it is looking like the weather will be mid morning to mid afternoon. So it is possible that we move the first round tee time up to 8:00 AM. That is still undecided. However, I wanted you to be aware that is a possibility and to plan accordingly.

As far as the inclement weather goes, if we get lighting within 15 miles of the course or there is other extreme weather that causes us to suspend play, there will be three short horn blasts. If you hear those 3 horn blasts, immediately mark your lie, leave the course and find shelter somewhere. Any time play is suspended, it is a minimum of 30 minutes before we can restart play.

Once a final decision is made on if any changes to the schedule are going to be made, I will send out another email with the details. I will also post that info to DGS and the FB event page. Please be looking for that email with the final schedule details.
