Las Colinas Mexican Restaurant has agreed to be out host for the awards ceremony following the conclusion of the final round at Redan Park on Sunday. Once a long time sponsor of many tournaments we are glad to have them back supporting this great event.

We will be paying out the top 50% in Amateur divisions and paying out the top 45% in Pro divisions. So make sure to head over to the restaurant to get your winnings and maybe a tasty beverage. We will settle all ties for first place on th ... more

Will you be rounding out the Advanced Men to 20 as it shows 19 currently? Just wondering what chances I have to play as I'm #1 on wait list for Advanced. Thanks

I like to keep it positive, Mike. Lets hope for the best. In the case we don't get it I'd like to invite you to Sunday Service, its a pdga sanctioned league on Sunday's at Perkerson Park in Atlanta. We tee off at 9am every single sunday morning, rain or shine. Hope to see you out one morning.

Brian Schuknecht   August 23, 2017 at 2:40am

Ok. Guess I should still show up Saturday morning and if nothing else play somewhere close by after. Thanks for the info.

Ramon Escamilla   August 24, 2017 at 12:42am

Yea at worst there's Alexander dubs @10 not too far away

Barry Arnson    August 20, 2017 at 1:23pm

Both courses are now set up in their tournament positions. Baskets will not be changing between rounds so you will have two chances to attack those baskets and score those birdies! I have updated both courses on DGCourseReview.com to reflect the current positions. Two things to note are that all divisions will be playing to the Alt 2 basket (350') in the woods at Lenora and that hole 15 is in Super Long (503') at Redan which isn't reflected on the distances on the website. Will the lower am divisions also have par 54 and 55 or will they be playing to the usual course pars listed on existing tee signs?

Barry Arnson   August 21, 2017 at 3:49pm

This is the par for each course for the tournament. All divisions will be playing this layout.

Conrad Norwood    August 18, 2017 at 3:49am

Will Lenora Park be roped or painted with OB lines on some holes?

Barry Arnson   August 18, 2017 at 4:39pm

We will be announcing the layouts and course OB for both courses soon. Please stay tuned.

If you are on the wait list does this mean you will play

Only if there are spots remaining. Field will be limited to 90. The wait list will be used during check-in and any players not checking in prior to the start of the player's meeting will have their spot forfeited and back filled with those on the wait list.

Reed Irvine   August 21, 2017 at 7:19pm

Copy

Mike Dammes   August 21, 2017 at 8:53pm

In other words Reed, not likely you will get in off the waitlist for this one.

michael houchin    August 11, 2017 at 5:26pm

I appreciate the offer, but scheduling just isn't going to work out for that, I'm afraid, I will be up in Atlanta next Saturday to get my daughter back to Tech, hopefully I'll be able to get in a round before heading back south :)

Paul Cloutier    August 11, 2017 at 12:46pm

I've never played either course, so please forgive me if this is a stupid question - but what Pins will be in play at Redan?

Barry Arnson   August 11, 2017 at 11:37pm

I will have details on that after this weekend. Need to walk both courses and see what pins will work.

Ramon Escamilla    August 10, 2017 at 11:39pm

Players pack or payout for ams?

Barry Arnson   August 11, 2017 at 2:50am

Both! Am player's will receive a player's pack and we will have payout done by Disc Stalker.

Conrad Norwood    August 10, 2017 at 5:06pm

Will all divisions throw form the same tees? I am signed up for rec but would hate to throw from a shorter grass tee box.

Barry Arnson   August 10, 2017 at 5:08pm

Rec division won't throwing from any shorter tees. All tees will be concrete.

Conrad Norwood   August 10, 2017 at 5:18pm

Thanks, that is what I wanted to hear.

Paul Cloutier    August 10, 2017 at 12:41pm

Just a quick question about the divisions, if I may.

I'm seeing guys with 820/860/880 Ratings signed up for Advanced.
Most of the Tournaments I've played in, they would be considered Rec/Int
The one guy signed up for Int is only Rated 810!

Under PDGA guideines two of these guys are actually eligible for Novice - and they are registered as Int and Adv!

Now, I'm in no way telling anyone where/how/what divisions they should be playing, but I'm really confused as to wh ... more

Love it!

Alan Fornek   August 11, 2017 at 12:26pm

Hey Scott, I played a round with you at the Illinois State Champs last month -- do you turn 50 this year? If so, you qualify for AGM -- we need some more players in the Creaky Knees division!

Barry Arnson   August 11, 2017 at 11:36pm

He does not.

Joshua Hett    August 9, 2017 at 1:11pm

Hello Barry,
I recently signed up with a hole sponsorship. Do I message you on what hole I would like to sponsor?

Barry Arnson   August 9, 2017 at 6:03pm

Sure!

Joshua Hett   August 10, 2017 at 12:45am

Can I do hole 16 at Redan if available, thanks.

Barry Arnson   August 10, 2017 at 2:46pm

Okay

Jason Erickson    August 8, 2017 at 7:51pm

Barry I really apologize, but I need to recall my registration and hole sponsorship. I have to work that weekend and won't be able to make it

Brian Ketelsen    August 8, 2017 at 1:24am

Is everything going to be played as par 3s instead of way over par like the parks have it on the tee signs

Barry Arnson   August 8, 2017 at 2:05pm

Yes.

Jeff/Jroll Shannon    August 3, 2017 at 5:58pm

How much to sponsor a hole?
