Correction to the MA3 payouts that are posted in Pictures: Scott Poole tied for 4th and won $30 in scrip to Next Adventure (not $20)

Congratulations to everyone who won scrip! All players who won have received an email from me (buckley...) asking them how they would like to receive their Next Adventure scrip -- either in-store or online.

Ty Eddington (MA40) tied the Hab/Rec course record for 36-hole score from the am tees with a 109 for the day. (Phillip Kurtz 2014, Adam Fitzpatrick 2018)

Online registration is closed, but walk-ins are welcome to pay cash at tourney central (Cedar shelter) at 7:30am Saturday. There is still space for more players. I just have to close online reg in advance because I won't really be able to monitor it from here on. I'll see you all out at Milo!

Yes, the raffle should be a good one!

I had to move the pin for 13W to the deep placement. The short right pin is/was heavily protected by a very large colony of yellowjackets. Be aware of that on the short right side of 13W. The park is planning on re-opening before the tournament! Not sure of the exact date that it will open, but it will be in the next few days, before next weekend. So we can plan on the Hab/Rec taking place as scheduled. The park added the caveat that this is barring any unexpected setbacks with fire danger or road safety. But I was told to fully plan on the course being open for the tournament. There will be no power or water to the course during the event. The course is in excellent condition, unaffected by the fire. Get ready for the 20th Annual Hab/Rec Fall Open !!!

Let’s go

Patrick Buckley    September 21, 2022 at 3:40am

Hot spots from the fire are still being cleaned up now. They expect that to be done very soon. The power is out until further notice. The course will likely be open before Hab/Rec, likely with no power, but open soon hopefully. Another update is expected by Friday.

Thank you for the update.

Patrick Buckley    September 16, 2022 at 1:10am

The park sounds optimistic about re-opening before the event, but still waiting on a specific timeframe. I might know more tomorrow. I'll post updates as I get them.

The fire cleanup should be wrapping up, but now PGE needs to restore power to Riverbend before it opens. Not sure of that timeline. Hopefully there will be an update on Monday.

Chris Grigg   September 17, 2022 at 11:49am

thanks for all the updates Patrick. Can't wait to get back out to play!
