WEATHER:
Saturday looks like it will be a beautiful pre-fall day with temps in the low 80s and cloudy. Sunday looks a little different – with potential showers in the morning. The 10am tee time on Sunday should help. We are bringing a bunch of bottles of water but you should still bring water and stay hydrated. We are not expecting any adverse weather this weekend.

SCORING:
ALL players (or their caddies) are required to keep score. This is a helpful page:
https://www.pdga.com/news/how-score-2024-player-td-guidance
Most will embrace the changes and use their phones as the PDGA app is awesome and very useful for more than just keeping score. Those who are stuck in the past and insist on writing down their scores will be provided with a stone tablet and a chisel so that they can record scores. No... not really. Players who request a paper scorecard will be ridiculed mercilessly but they will receive them.
LIVE SCORING:
You can access the PDGA Live App or website:
http://www.pdga.com/score
The code is: Cessna
Then you log in with your name or PDGA#, choose Player/Caddie and you are all set. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Player Safety
If you are on the tee of hole 5 or hole 7, please be aware of what is going on down the fairway. These fairways come very close to each other so please do not throw on a group that might be in your range. Please defer to the higher numbered hole - 7 in this case.
Same goes for holes 8 and 12 when we are playing in the afternoon from the Blue pads. If two groups arrive at the pad at the same time, please defer to the higher numbered hole - 12 in this case.
On holes 11 and 17, please be aware of each other on the tee pads and please allow the group that arrived first to complete their throws.
ACE POT
The Ace Pot is sitting at $150 currently. Please make sure you are in the Ace Pot when you check in. We will accept cash at sign-ups if you didn’t choose the ace pot when you registered. In the event there is no Ace hit, the Ace Pot will be added to payouts for both Ams and Pros – proportionally.
RAFFLE TICKETS:
Raffle tickets will be available at Calvert at check-in and through awards. We have a couple of portable Innova baskets, tournament discs, extra discs, two stools and more in our raffle for this year. The raffle will be pulled prior to awards. You do NOT need to be present to win but you ARE responsible for putting some info on the tickets you turn in so we can identify you. Raffle prizes will be available at Calvert for pick-up for those who are not in attendance during the raffle. If you cannot get to Calvert, we will make arrangements for you to collect your prize. If you are not sure that you will stick around for the raffle, you are encouraged to put your full name and phone number or your PDGA # on your raffle tickets so that you can be notified if you win. Prices are $1 each or 6 for $5.
Again... there will be no players meeting. Please read your email and ask questions when you check in. I can't tell you things like "why don't my putts go in?" but I can hopefully help you get to your starting hole on time and understand what "scrip" is. (It's money Amateurs can spend with me after they play well....)
It is entirely possible that we have forgotten something. If we didn't cover something that you are needing to know – and especially if you think others should know it - please do not hesitate to contact me by replying to this email or picking up the phone and giving Sam a call at 971-645-6371. Or text... because that is easier. If anything comes up that bears repeating, I will send a follow-up email.
Go practice your putting. And think about how awesome it would be if you won some raffle prizes. You can't win if you don't play!
