The Space Race is tomorrow evening! We've had inclement weather before at prior events, so a little rain should be no big deal. Come prepared for rain and cooler temperatures. The Space Race will not be rescheduled unless there is lightning. The Space Race is at Salt Hollow Park in Hyrum.
I'll have player's packs at the event for those who haven't got theirs yet. My plan is to be there by 6:30, so you can get your discs and practice if you want.
If you have a basket, please bring it. The more baskets we have, the more chances of getting an ACE! You can set up your basket next to any of the permanent baskets on the course.
If you know of anyone who is thinking about playing, they can sign up online tonight until 8:00. After that, they can sign up at Infinite until about 5:00 tomorrow, or at the event. I can take Paypal, Venmo, or cash at the event.
If you need a UV flashlight, stop by Infinite tomorrow before 5:00.
Check in under the pavilion by 7:15. We'll have a player's meeting at 7:25, then start playing at 7:30. You can play with your friends for family members if you want. I'll provide paper score cards. One person per group will record aces and metal hits. The person with the most aces will win a big stack of discs. Second place will get a small stack. Metal hits will be used as a tiebreaker.
These tournaments usually only last an hour and a half or less.
