I'm gonna tell you how to get into the park.
Our separate disc golf entrance will be on Johnson Avenue.
VERY IMPORTANT: YOU MAY ONLY PAY WITH CASH AT THIS ENTRANCE.
NO CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
IF YOU HAVE A PARK PASS, THAT WILL BE ACCEPTED.
I'm going to attach a map that I hope is self explanatory, but I'm going to do my best to explain it anyway. Let me know if you have any questions.

From the North:
Turn left onto Pine Avenue from Euclid Avenue.
Turn right onto Johnson Avenue.
Follow Johnson Avenue to the entrance.

From the South:
Turn right onto Pine Avenue from Euclid Avenue.
Turn right onto Johnson Avenue.
Follow Johnson Avenue to the entrance.

From the East:
Turn left onto Johnson Avenue from Pine Avenue.
Follow Johnson Avenue to the entrance.

Once inside Prado Regional Park, follow Johnson Avenue until you reach the dead-end.
Turn right at the dead-end and follow the main park road until you get to the parking area.

Thanks to Eric and the Prado DGC, all the baskets (except the temp on hole 1) are in place for practice. Be careful playing tournament hole 14 (normal course 7) as it does play near the lake area that is popular with fishman, especially on the weekend. If you see anything while out practicing that needs to be addressed, let me know asap so we can get it looked at.

One more thing to add. Some players have asked if they can be on the same card with another player. As a fun c tier events, Nate and I will do our best to accommodate those requests so everyone has a good time with their friends. There are some things to consider when requesting and that we have to look at. If we aren't able to fulfill your request, it is probably listed here.

1) requests for a certain card mate are for round 1 only. Round 2 cards are determined by round 1 scores.

2) PDGA requires us to keep division integrity to the best of our ability, which means it may be difficult to play on the same card with someone who is in another division. For example, if I have 6 players in ma4, 4 of them would play together and the other 2 would player with another division. However, the integrity could be questioned if I put 2 ma4 players on 3 different cards unless I had a sound justification.

3) we will take requests on first come basis. Some players put it in the comments when they registered, so I will honor those. If you have a request, post it here or message me here on dgscene. Do not email me or Nate with requests. It will likely get lost in our other emails and won't be acknowledged.

Hope everyone is staying dry and getting ready to enjoy a holiday weekend. We have some updates for everyone for the event.

Nate is working with the park to see if they will allow us to enter through the alternate gate. This is not set in stone yet, but it is looking hopeful. It will be just for the event participants. If you have a pass, you are good. If not, it is $10 cash only per car to enter. If you need to use card, you have to go to the main gate area.

Speaking of parking, Nate and I tested the parking at the Ice Bowl this past weekend and think it will work out well. I will post a map of where we can park. I recommend carpooling if you can. The main lot is still closed and there are about 20 spaces in the small lot next to normal course hole 13. We will be able to use the dirt area on the outside of the road to park, which means everyone will be close to tc (and the food).

Course Map: I am still working on the course map, but I know we will have at least one temp basket for a replacement hole due to the construction. Just like last year, there will be some modifications to some holes in terms of additional mandatories or island holes. The goal is to have the caddy book, course layout, and baskets in position (minus the temp basket) as set and in place the weekend before the event.

Course design: For the event, the hole numbers for the tournament are NOT the same as what the course is traditionally labeled. The holes will match with the flow of the course, starting at TC. Example, Hole 1 will be the temp basket near TC, Hole 2 will be normal course 13, hole 18 will be normal course 12. The map will show what each hole is and there will be tee signs.
