Thank you for signing up for the Boo Bash Doubles FUNdraiser on October 26 at Fairgrounds.
60% of the registration fees go to the 2026 Evergreen Women’s Series and the other 40% to payouts!
A few details below to get you ready:
I will not be in attendance this year. I have a family emergency that requires my attention. Thank you to Elaina, Rachelle, Jenn, and Shayna for helping out!
Check in starts at 9:30am, shotgun start at 10:45am.
This is a rain or shine event. As of right now, it IS going to rain during this event. No refunds at this time, but if you don't plan to play, please let me know ASAP.
Understanding that it's not very fun to play disc golf in the rain WITH a costume on, we will take photos when you check in and are then welcome to change prior to the event. Costume contest will take place via online voting, just like previous years.
Layout - Everyone will be playing 18 holes (no bonus holes) from the red pads.
Ace pot - This is an individual prize and you only qualify with your initial shot off the tee pad. So, if you use a boo (mulligan) off the tee pad, that second throw does not count towards the ace pot. If an ace isn't hit, the funds will be donated to 2026 EWS.
If you did not, but would like to purchase boos (mulligans), please bring exact cash at sign in (or you can paypal directly at [email redacted]):
$5 for 1 or 5 for $20
Total of 5 allowed per team.
When you use a Boo both teammates rethrow.
Payouts for division winners will be made via paypal or venmo within a day or two of the event.
Scorekeeping - via udisc. If you have not already, please edit your registration through disc golf scene and let me know your udisc username.
Format - We are playing the typical “best throw” doubles format:
Both team members throw from the teeing area.
The team then chooses which of the two positions to play from for the next throw. Both team members throw from the resulting lie, and the team again chooses which of the two positions to play from, and so on.
A team completes a hole when either team member completes the hole.
The score for a team on a hole is the number of throws for the lies that were played, plus any penalty throws.
If a team picks up a thrown disc before a lie has been chosen or marked with a marker disc, the team may not choose that throw. If a team picks up both thrown discs without a lie having been marked, the second disc to have been picked up is replaced to its original position as agreed upon by the group, and the team must play from the resulting lie.
When you use a boo both teammates rethrow from that lie.
Starting holes will be posted on Saturday via udisc.
There are 1st place trophies for each division.
If you have any clarifying questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
And, many many thanks for signing up for this Evergreen Women's Series Fundraiser!
Best,
Nikole
