Just wondering because I’m not the only one that it happened to today but mine as well as a lot of other peoples umbrellas broke. Curious if I should be on the lookout if anything will happen with that or if it’s just tough luck. No worries if nothing can be done (let’s be honest it’s just an umbrella) just curious and I know others are too. Thanks! And thanks for putting on such a great event this weekend. I had a great experience and hope to return next year!

Found about 11 discs in the water around hole 3 at copper ridge yesterday. I've reach out to everyone with the number on them but there is a blue dyed disc with no info. Staying at camp site 16. If your disc wasn't recovered or goes deep in the water let me know and I'll see about braving the cold again today. (2505755125)

Please do not park at the small park by the playground and bathrooms just down from the course. We want kept free for the locals who are welcoming us to their community. There is room for a decent amount of cars in the course parking lot , and then just down the street and across the road there is morning parking at the rec centre.

We are working as fast as we can (everyone has day jobs) to get all the signage out and OB lines done by this evening. There will be a crew of KDGC volunteers on Mac Island this evening, with a truck, cleaning up leaf and stick piles. Please be patient with them and if necessary, skip that hole.
DO NOT THROW IN ON THEM!

Mac Park IS NOT closed to the public until Thursday. Please use caution and respect when playing the course today. The public has the right-of-way today!

Check your junk mail, spam folder or connect with a friend or fellow player if you think you didn't receive it. It will also be on the KDGC website by Tuesday morning, so use this as your resource rather than emailing me back asking to resend. It might not seem like much but when my email is hit with 30 -50 messages (historically in this situation) it's a lot of time out of my day! www.kdgc.com

I may be wrong in reading it this way, but on PDGA the start for MA2 says TCO 2024 2, which matches all of pool B's but all other pool A divisions say - TCO 2024 1. so either it is irrelevant and doesn't determine the pool, or its a typo and it's supposed to be 1 to match pool a?

I will always do my best to make sure a tournament runs as smoothly as possible. Though sometimes my choices and decisions can confuse people, or lead to them questioning why I have done things a certain way.

I moved the tee order away from the 'traditional' order for Copper Ridge for the benefit of course flow and to avoid backups at all costs. It's a mountain course and there are some new long holes and I have a feeling for some divisons it will play a little on the slow side, so it did not make sense to put them on the course first infront of divisions that gernally play more quickly.

For Sunday at McArthur that isn't much of a concern, the course plays about the same speed for everyone. Though tee times are never really final until the night before, I had decided I was going to revert back to a more traditional order for that day. I had assumed that nobody would mind because it's a new day in a new city on a new course. Unfortunately that is not the case and there has been some push back on this. While I really don't like changing things Sunday is still a week away so I will make the change now.

Sunday will retain the tee order per division as it is on Friday and Saturday, though the times at McArthur will start a little earlier in the morning. I am hoping that this pleases the most amount of people.

On the upside it means that FPO will tee last, and they will have the honour to close out the tournament which is usually reserved for MPO, so that's a nice change!

Once again, sorry for any confusion. You will not see any more changes coming outside of very small adjustments by a few minutes here and there due to players dropping from the event etc.
