Hey all,
Sorry for the late note but I just got back from Trinidad and stopped off at Widefield to look at the flooding on hole 3. That hole is not going to be playable for most players so I am changing it to a temp tee from the barbecue area playing back to 3s short basket.
Play hole 2, and then take the sidewalk towards the pavilion. There will be 2 orange flags on the sidewalk, that is where you will tee from.
Sidewalk left is OB, creek and beyond is OB. Little 180 foot touch shot and no feetsies should get wet.

Check in will be between 7:30am and 8:30am near hole 1. You must check in before heading to your starting hole, otherwise you will be removed from the event.
Round 1 start time will be 8:45am. For those far away, you may not be able to hear the start, so please begin at 8:45 unless you get an email or note from me advising otherwise.
Lunch will be 1 hour after last card is submitted, and I will send out ...

Also wondering on hole 3, can we elect to go directly to the drop zone, “throwing two,” without having to first throw into the marsh and wade in to retrieve the disc and then go to the drop zone?

I double checked and there is no advancing on a non penalized throw. As far as I have seen, the marsh area is close to the creek and so there should be a safe landing zone near the sidewalk. I’ll know more tonight.

Checked through the link in the caddy pack for starting holes. They were not posted anywhere I could find. Any other way to know what hole we are starting on?

I am coming to Colorado from Maine. Is there any chance I can get in to MA2 from the wait list if I register? Is it possible to open the field size to more players?

Waitlists move fast out here in CO this year so far. But the course is only 18 holes and Josh already is adding 1 temp hole, there is not room to expand the field further within the PDGA rules for group sizes. I suggest getting on the waitlist and see how the cards fall

Sorry, I am an idiot, and double booked myself. August 17th is when the twisted cedars has been rescheduled. This new date will be August 18th.

Hello friends,
I am going to make the difficult call to postpone tomorrow's event to August 17th, 2024.
This does not come lightly, and I apologize for such late notice.
I was really hoping against hope that we would start to see a favorable forecast come around but given that it is solidified that we are going to see 40+ mph winds, and 80+ mph gusts as early as 8am, I don't feel comfortable having people play in those conditions.

I was going to have two different groups of pars but due to grouping situations, everyone is playing the same pars. Holes 1, 2, 5 and 18 are 4s across the board. I know this is going to open up some eagles for players, but it is what I have to do. Good luck!

We are playing pro tees to yellow baskets. Hole 16 will be split in two. 16a is teeing from the sidewalk near 16s pro tee to 17s red basket. 16b is teeing from 16 am tee to 16s yellow, no mando
