Hello Everyone!
Thank you for signing up for the 2024 MHDGC First Tags tomorrow at Bird's Nest Disc Golf Course!
This is the first time we have filled up prior to the morning of the event and we could not be happier! At this time we will not be accepting any walk up registrations.
Just a couple notes for tomorrow:
-Check in will run from 7:45am-8:45am YOU MUST CHECK IN and during this window, let's be respectful of everyone's time.-We will have a quick player meeting at 8:50am, then we will let you all create your groups and head out to a starting hole, we intend to start No later than 9:15 but it may be earlier.
-We will play a 21 Hole Layout, 1-19 and Two Temps, Temp Hole A after Hole 9 playing to Hole 12 long basket, and Temp Hole B after Hole 11 playing to Hole 2 Long Basket. We will have those marked with Flags and a sign for you to know where they are at. The Layout will also be loaded into UDisc.
-As first tags tend to be, this will be a lengthier round, so please be respectful of your fellow disc golfers and be mindful of the time you are taking to play. No funsie shots, no "Science" shots, etc. We are all here for a good time, but we all have things going on too!
-We will be using the UDisc League function for scoring, it will be up on UDisc to select in the morning. -Immediately following the conclusion of the round we will start Tag Distribution, The only ties that will be settled will be for the Winners of General, Women, and Juniors. Everyone will get a general tag regardless and that is the division all players will play under for scoring. Tie breakers for other scores will just be distributed in the order that they are listed on UDisc.
IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT GOING TO MAKE IT TOMORROW: Please shoot me an email and let me know, this will help us to see if we can accommodate any walk ups, which right now we can not. We also understand that it is New Years, and sometimes the previous night catches up to us and you may not be able to make it.
