Good Morning:)
I just wanted to post about lodging and how to find the best place for you. It will be important for you to look at what courses you are playing to determine where you stay. The courses are located throughout Austin and Round Rock and we all know that saying everything is bigger in Texas lol and driving is no exception. While the courses are about 30-40 mins apart, playing then heading to HQ won’t be a big issue but if you are trying to stay close to your course I would suggest mapping your courses then finding a place.

Hey there! Question: were there trophies for the top 3 places in FA3 and FA4? I might have missed grabbing mine if so. Thank you for the info!
FA1 got 8 trophies too from what I heard. Even with that percentage I would have thought the top 3-4 in FA3 would have trophies too

Anyone find info about the flymart? When is it and is there anything else going on besides the flymart? Is there food besides the Can-tina food truck?
It is 5-9 tonight. Some of the vendors (especially players) will be setup later because they’re still out playing right now. Rolling Smoke is also setup and they are serving burgers, chicken tenders, and fries :)

Hey Tourney Staff! I had a late check in last night, so was not able to pick up my players pack. Would I be able to pick it up at Sprinkle Valley tomorrow (Fri)? Or is there somewhere else I can meet up with someone?

I asked this on FB but didn't get a response, for the wilco course if we don't play it, is an email going to be sent out or do we still show up to that course to see if its being played or not?? Thanks much!!!

Regarding Wells Branch, could you please clarify the exact tee pad for hole 12. The preview video clearly shows Debbie and Alan teeing off on a strip of concrete with the number 12 printed on the left leading corner. However the caddy book and tee sign show the tee pad between two walkways, one brown( presumably gravel) and the other white (presumably concrete). A fellow player pointed out that the circle tee pad for 13 is between two concrete pathways. Is the tee pad for hole 12 the same concrete circle as 13?

Still have an extra bed in my room at the host hotel.

So we are all on the same page, can you please clarify where the teepad front is on hole 5 Old Settlers. There is a tee pad and then more concrete in front of the pad.
Shelly. The front should be marked. The end of the pad is the crack right before the sidewalk. The PDGA marshal will make sure it is marked

There are in hospitable little red ants on the tee pad of hole 9 at Benbrook. Player beware! Lol. Not sure if this can be dealt with before tournament or if we’ll just have to deal with it.

There are AMs that still want to play. Why is registration closed when the field is not full?
Someone said there was a pdga rule. I'd like that please as every other tournament that was not full has always allowed check in until day before orv even walk up. As a TD I need to understand the role better. Thank you
Rude? I'm sorry if you think so, but it certainly wasn't intended to be rude, I simply provided a factual answer to a question that was asked.
What I asked for was the specific rule. One woman was told per PDGA rules they couldn't allow a late sign up. And yes your response was rude.
Sorry if you took it that way. No, there is no rule that I'm aware of that would stop a TD from offering registration up until the day before, or even walkups, for that matter. However, in the case of a PDGA Major, the TD is not involved in registration, the PDGA sets the start and end dates ... more

It appears as if the caddie book information is not accurate for the given courses. Any insight.
The uploaded caddie book is correct with the exception of the artwork on hole 18 at Sprinkle valley which is being updated. Please let me know any other things at [email redacted]

Is it true that children 10 and under can spectate for free if they are accompanied by an adult? My husband is caddying for me and I asked for 2 guest passes (for my parents who will be helping with our kids while
I play). Is this sufficient for them 4 to be able to spectate? (I posted this on the mint discs thread for spectator tickets as well, but just in case it’s not seen)

Where might there be info about the putting league? i.e. do you have to show up at 5:00 or just get putting done between 5-7 Tuesday? Assuming this is the only night to compete which happens to take place the same time frame as the clinic, why would this be? Is it divisional or are Pros and AMs competing against each other? etc.
Also, anyone have info on Mint Stamp Night?
Hey Shelley - putting league on Tuesday evening is at Red Horn Brewery in Leander. It's a long standing community event that's always been held on Tuesdays. If you look up "Hill Country Hyzers" on Facebook and/or UDisc, you'll definitely find more info on their putting leagu ... more

Hi. Will age protected divisions be finished in time to watch the top FPO players, particularly on Saturday and Sunday?
I believe your rounds should be faster depending on your tee time so fingers crossed that you will see the action.

They just posted the host hotel and it’s in a great centralized location to all the courses and HQ. Easy access to the highways, a ton of food options and perks to the awesome indoor/outdoor water park across the street!
