Good afternoon everyone.

After much discussion and weighing all factors of the situation, we have made the extremely difficult decision to postpone tomorrow's Memorial event to Saturday July 22, 2023.
The weather forecast for Myrtle Beach is calling for anywhere from 2-4" of rain across the morning and afternoon, paired with sustained winds of 20+mph and gusts reaching 40mph. In those conditions, an event of any type is nearly impossible to host and be safe. We would be risking not just having a tough time, but also having an unsafe time. The goal of the event is to celebrate Stephen Capalbo's memory, and that would not be best served in the forecasted conditions this weekend.

I know this throws a wrench into many plans for people which we are truly sorry for, but hope that you understand the difficulty of the situation. With that we are happy to facilitate full refunds for anyone who cannot attend the new date of July 22. Hopefully all of you can remain registered for the new day, but if you would like to receive a full refund for your entry, please reach out by email reply here, OR by clicking the refund request link on the Disc Golf Scene page here. I will process those as soon as they are received.

We truly wish for better circumstances, but we believe that we are making the best possible decision with all things considered. We hope that you can join us in July for the celebration and disc golf tournament, and wish you all a dry and safe Memorial Day Weekend.
